You won't annoy me, we leave the same day Its finally getting closer and I now am thinking of a hundred things I need to do. I have already had to deal with flight changes, lucky for me it only involved the day we leave. We now leave 6 hours later, I can live with that more time at the World.

Lucky you! I would love more time in the World! Thank goodnes your flight changes were in your favor.

Even though I have been keeping up with our 'days left till WDW', I have been working on my last project. I am going to have to check my hair after all of this is done because I have a feeling that there will be something rather grey in there.

I have purchased a few more items, sunscreen, hand-held fans, etc., but i have not put anything into our suitcases yet!

Did you receive your packet yet? I was wondering when they are mailed out. I read somewhere a while back that WDW ships your packet of information around 40 days from your stay.

Will anyone else be driving down I-10 on the night of june 19th, we will. Heading out Deville,LA at 9pm,,Baton Rouge I-12 11:30pm, the hit I-10 for night drive while kids sleep, was wondering who else might be on I-10 at the sametime? ,hopefully we will be at WDW by 10am! 49 more day!!!

I am so excited!!! I just want this darn school year to be over!!!! I am going with my grandparents (52 & 53), me (15), and my brother (10). We're going June 22nd-27th and we are staying at the Saratoga Springs resort!!!! Can't wait-1 month, 3 weeks

Unless he's like my dh who took a nap on the grass outside of Mission Space after his liter at the Biergarten in Germany! It was fine w/ my b/c I got to ride in the single rider line a few times and he caught up on his zzzz's!

I agree with AMY...so here is my official speech....

As the host of this official June 2008 thread, I invite you all to PLEASE give us a complete trip report including pictures upon your return home!

How was that? lol...I sounded important...lol...right?!!!


So has everyone started packing? Made arrangements to either stop your mail or have someone pick it up for you? Dont forget your newspaper. Any other final countdown tips we should post? Packing tips? My favorite thing I was told was about laundry...of all things. If you do laundry while you are there...take your powder detergant and measure it out in zip lock baggies...& take you dryer sheets. It saves money and it is nice having the brand you use with you. (I DO NOT SUGGEST THIS FOR ANYONE FLYING...I WOULD NOT WANT TO BE THE ONE EXPLAINING WHAT THE WHITE POWDERY SUBSTNACE IN YOUR BAGS HAPPENS TO REALLY BE!) I also take a roll of quarters with me because it never fails when I go to do laundry the change mich is broke or empty!!

Thank you all for the welcome!! It's fun to be able to share the excitement with others who "get it". I'm WAYYYYY more excited than my kids because they just don't understand what it'll be like.

I have a small bottle of Tide that I got in the travel section of Target along with some dryer sheets already packed in a ziplock bag. Another good laundry tip I read was line your suitcase with a large trash bag. Once at Disney, use it as a hamper and a way to transport to and from the resort laundry.

I bought new sunscreen, a new visor, am working on breaking in the new sandals (Adidas and they totally rock!), I'm soooo ready!!!

Still working on lining up a pet-sitter for my furbabies, but that will come together soon enough.

We'll definitely have to do trip reports. Something to ease the pain of our return to the real world!

Haven't started packing yet, I'm waiting until things slow down with work and I can go shopping first. Also need to order our park tickets, but that's the last major thing I have to do for our vacation!
