Well..we cancelled our cruise for June/July. And we cancelled our June trip to Disney Pre-cruise. but all is not lost, because we are going to go in August for 5 days. Shorter than I would have liked, but better than no trip at all. We were going to keep the same week we went this past time in July, but my son asked if we could go to Disney around his birthday so that is what we are going to do and we thought it was perfect since it will go us more time to save for our trip. Two months will make a big differences in saving.


I would still love to stop by and chat with you guys, but is there anyone willing to start up a NEW July thread? With going in August, it's hard to still run this one and have my heart into doing the thread when I am not able to go in July anymore. Let me know if anyone wants to step in. I can PM you the resort list I started so you wouldn't have to start from scratch.

Angalee - Sorry about all of the changes you had to make but at least a family trip is still going to happen.

As to your request in finding a responsible person to take over the thread. WOW!!!!! I dont know if I have it in me to be able to take it on and be as proficent as you have been.

Count us in! We will be going back July 9-16 and staying at Bonnet Creek.

SO excited! We booked our flights. Yipppeeee!

We are for sure going to go to Discovery Cove this time. I am really looking forward to that.

We are looking at the possibility of a shorter stay during July. After I get our week deposited with RCI tomorrow I will know more. Keep ya posted on our plans for July.

DD (Midori) and I shopped and ate all weekend. DD is into Vera Bradley so I was talked into buying the new English Rose Chain Purse, Ribbons Wristlet and Priscilla Pink Lunch Bag. DD found a North Face Fleece on sale from 179.00 down to 85.00. Had to buy that also. DD has Dr. Dre Beats head phones on the way and should be delivered by the end of the week.

ME !!!! I got 4 pairs of black socks and the feeling of Happiness and Satisfaction knowing my DD found what she wanted.

Sounds like the parent of a teen! Tyler's 18th birthday is this Thursday and we are going to a Brazillian Restaurant for his celebration and have purchased the "Oakley" O's for his sunglasses, something he has been begging for quite sometime now. Ever since he got the sunglasses for his last birthday. I did splurge and purchased myself on "one share.com" a framed share of Disney Stock.. Is that pathetic??? I am wrapping it and putting it under the tree from Santa to me!

Your daughter is very fortunate to have a father dedicated to her, that is the best present of all for a parent, knowing how much their child means to them and would do anything for them! Merry Christmas Bob and all here on Dis Boards July crowd!

You can still get one! I have not opened mine yet I can hardly wait!!!! I had it framed and got to choose an engraving for the bottom. I bet Bob's is the same set up however I don't know if he chose the same engraving on the bottom.. Yes the things we do to have Dis 24/7!!!!

My wife and I were feeling down about not being able to go to WDW this Christmas even though we booked a week long stay in Branson, MO which is much closer to home. Our plans are definitely to be back in the World for Christmas from 21-31 Dec, 2013 and have already started planning. Yesterday, we discovered a little extra, unexpected money and thought we would check into a Disney cruise this summer. Well to make a long story short, we discovered we could do a 12 day WDW trip for about the same as we would spend on a cruise--- so we booked a July 2-13 WDW trip yesterday. Can't wait until ADRs on January 3rd! Looking forward to ideas and suggestions as we plan our first summer trip. What about AK Wild Africa Trek and the Backstage Safari in the summer????

Woohoo!! for a longer trip. We looked into a cruise too one year and did exactly what you did. I would much rather spend more time on vacation than do a cruise for a few days. It just doesn't justify the cost. We were able to stay at the Poly for like 10 days for the same price- it's crazy!!!!

I found the July, 2013 hours on easywdw.com. Be sure to read my comment to Josh's post about July, 2013 if the link in his post doesn't get you to the July pdf. Now it's on to planning and waiting for the crowd and suggested park calendars on websites.

Josh fixed the link to July Park Hours so it works fine now. Is anyone out there counting the days to 180 days out for ADRs???? Thought there might be more activity now it's only a few weeks until Jan 3 for us to get our ADRs. Considering LaNuba the evening of July 2 (we arrive at 1:30) for the 6:00 pm show. Any thoughts about LaNuba????

We loved it, it is a bit pricey but totally worth it! Not a bad seat in the entire theater. It was much smaller than I expected it to be.

Hey all!! Hope everyone had a great Christmas!! We have over eaten and over spent lol but it's been good! DS has received about every lego set on the planet (or so it seems), think we'll be able to extend the house with the stuff. So now Christmas is done I am back in Disney zone!! Hehe! Think we're at 191 days! Woo hoo! Don't have dining plan til we switch to SS (because it was free) so think I can start making ressies in about 2 weeks time!! got a nice wee bit of extra £s when I switched jobs (overdue holiday pay that I wasn't expecting) so that's a bonus to the Disney fund! Anyone ever done the keys to the kingdom tour? I am tempted but fear it makes me a total geek! Lol!! Would have to do it alone as DS is too young and hubby would rather poke himself in the eye anyway! :-D
