~~*Official July 2013 Thread!*~~Our Month has Arrived!

Hello! It's finally official! party:
We're flying out to Orlando from England on the 5th July- 19th July!
I'm really excited because both of the girls will have finished all their GCSE exams and we will be celebrating a "graduation" (it's a little different to America, it's the last year before they take the A-levels which is basically the equivalent to Junior and Senior year. but hey ho!) It will be really special because it signals a big step and i really want to do a trip after the many stressful exams.Nothing like Disney therapy! :lmao:
It will also be a pre-birthday trip because we unfortunately get back a couple days before their Sweet 16 on the 25th but this was the only time that would work for us. I'm really excited to see what everyone has planned!

Edit: I forgot to add that we are staying at an offsite Villa :)

There is nothing like Disney therapy :)

:welcome: I added you to our list on page one.

:woohoo:Looks like we've narrowed it down to 3 extra days at Boardwalk Villas or 4 extra days at Bonnet Creek. (14-18) I think I may go with Bonnet Creek just because the price for a 2 bedroom villa cannot be beat. Just finishing up the ressies today. Looks like project vacation add on is under way. Ever hear the term we need a vacation from our vacation? Well, this will be one of those. lol:woohoo::woohoo:

Hi all! We are officially heading to WDW on July 10 - 17th! So excited! This will be DD2's third trip to the world... so excited! We are staying at POFQ and are attempting the DDP for the first time this trip! We have all of our ADR's set and our plans all organized. We just keep HOPING and PRAYING for an ADR at BOG at last night although I feel like it will be fruitless... we will definitely do a lunch there over the week but dinner may be out of our reach...

I'm super excited to find this thread... this waiting is impossible!

Here's some of our plans so far...
July 10 - Arrive at POFQ - Afternoon at AK - Dinner at Yak and Yeti
July 11 - MK - Lunch at BOG - all QS that day
July 12 - Epcot - Dinner at Coral Reef
July 13 - HS - lunch at 50's Primetime
July 14 - MK - Breakfast at Cinderella's Royal Table (PreRD), Dinner at DD - Rainforest Cafe
July 15 - Epcot - Lunch at Akershaus, dinner at Rose & Crown
July 15 - MK - Breakfast at 'Ohana, Dinner at Crystal Palace

I think that's it so far!

Is it too early to pack? Lol!

I keep checking for BOG daily, but no luck so far. Have you seen the July dining cancellations thread? I'm the only one who has posted cancellations so far but as we get closer usually many more pop up. Good Luck!

DF and I will be there pretty much the same dates (July 11 - 18) for our DFTW and Disneymoon :bride:. It still feels too far away. We've been trying to get BOG too. So far no luck. Oh well, fingers crossed.

Hope for BOG for you too!!!!

I see some of you are trying to get ressies at BOG. I got mine at the Disney website for dining reservations.... where it says "pick a time" at the bottom? I toggled between dates and times of day until something took, and then I booked it. How are you all trying to get your ressies for BOG, on the phone or on line? I got 8:50pm ressies July 10th for 7 people. I had to try 7 people at all different times, the I tried 4 people, 2 people, different days, different times, and eventually found a combo that worked.... booked it in seconds so I didn't loose it.... hate to see others having a hard time getting reservations!

Ferrentinos, our dates are exactly the same as yours. Welcome to the July Board.

Just booked Bonnet Creek tonight for an additional 3 nights. I'm beside myself!

I was actually trying to get one for our April trip but no luck. I haven't tried very hard for July yet b/ c I'm not sure of dates yet. ( other family members coming)
I always do all ressies online. :)

I think I am just going to do CS for BOG. I'm sick of looking. At least there's another option so we're not totally out of luck.

I have another ADR. We are doing CRT July 19- lunch for my niece's b-day!!!! I am so excited. I have never been there before. It's hard when you have 2 boys. Wait til they find out that they're eating there. LOL. :)

The boys will love the castle too! So enchanting!!! We are doing an early breakfast there and are excited to get into the park before it opens that day!

Now I'm just working on my CS meals.... What are your favorites?

I need ideas too! We are a group of 9 so places with variety are best.

My main concern is MK since that is one place we will be touring together to see all of the classic attractions. I still can not believe that my neice ( 17 ) and nephew ( 16 ) and sis and bro in law have never ever been to Disney. :confused3 It should be fun to watch their faces, they are going to be like children when they see the magic!:yay:

My absolute favorite CS is Sunshine Seasons in Epcot (FW)

Columbia Harbor House (MK)

Flame Tree BBQ (AK)

Earl of Sandwich and Wolfgang Puck Express (DTD)

Pecos Bills (MK)

Patisserie ( bakery in France) Epcot of course

I've gotten sushi at a CS in Japan too not sure of name

Yorkshire fish & chips next to Rose & Crown ( did I get the name right ?)
