also I have a couple of pictures that were supposed to have special shots but don't..is there a way to get that fixed?
Yeah, I have one like that, too. I didn't ask them yet but if you send them an email, please let me know.
Re: the photo download...that sounds like you ordered something different than the PhotoCD which has the pics from the parks? Maybe I'm wrong ... I know Disney has their own "stock" photos that you can get also.
Sorry, I'm not much help ... hopefully someone else can confirm...
Totally off topic and I know but I had to share this with SOMEONE as I'm bursting at the seams! I finally decided to go to college to get a degree. I've decided to go for my Associates in Travel and Tourism so I can become a Strictly DisneyTA! The college I've chosen even goes in the running to have interns from WDW choose them! So when I go back to the world in 2 years I will be celebrating getting my Associate's degree!
That sounds awesome. I wish I had the courage to go back to school and do something like that.
I'm glad to see everyone had a great time. I haven't been on, since I have the post WDW blues. DH wants to do something different next year, so I'm trying to convince him of a Disney cruise to celebrate our 20th.
I just sent them an email so I will let you know what they say!
As far as the photo download.. I went ahead and downloaded them and it said it was 14 pics of "entitlement pics" once I unzipped it there were 7 pictures from the electrical parade(of floats) and a release for each one... I was wondering how those parade ones got on there!!![]()
ohhhh woo hoo
we're in a photopass group from facebook and there are about 6 of us with different shots in front of the castle
we'll get the promo pics for sure then
I did talk to one of the PHotopass photographers who is also on DIS and she told me that there was a secret promo going on. If you got any picture taken in front of the castle, then your pics will also include pics from Disney's stock of MSEP. Pretty cool!
I have about 8-10 of them, too. Still working on our CD photos...
I understand the post Disney blues. We drove up to North Carolina to stay over the night we left Disney, and I got depressed when we checked into the hotel. The lady at the desk asked me if we were vacationing in Florida or Myrtle Beach (most people who stay there are on their way to or from one of those), and I said Florida. She asked if we were on our way down or on our way home and it saddened me to say we were on our way home. We stayed at the same hotel on the way down, the day we had left home to go to Florida.
We are doing a cruise next year but on Royal Caribbean because they go out of NJ, and the port is only 30 minutes from my house! I am trying to focus on that, as we will be booking it in about 2 weeks from now. But no Disney for us until July 2012. But that's the way it goes...we decided on a long trip every other year to make the trips more relaxing, and to be able to do a different type of vacation during the "in-between" summers.

What ports does the cruise stop at?
The cruise goes to Bermuda, St. Thomas, St. Maarten and San Juan. And there are a few days at sea. Altogether, a 9-night cruise.
In case anyone is interested, I just posted a review of BC, BLT and the Poly on the resort board explaining why we checked out of BC early!
What did you eat at Citrico's? On our next trip, DH and I talk about putting the kids into the kids' club one evening and having a date night at a signature restaurant. Of course I am starting to think about that already even though it is close to 2 years away!!![]()
I'm the same way! We went for our anniversary and were given a lot of little extras: personalized menus, our picture taken, an amuse bouche (sp?), and champagne at the end of our meal. Our waiter was great-very attentive and down to earth.
We split arancini for our appetizer. I ordered the filet sicilian for my entree. it was perfectly cooked, and the potatoes were out of this world!
Your cruise sounds awesome!
i had forgotten that i put we were celebrating our anniversary at citricos
i was shocked when we were given personalized menus buttons and a photo of the 3 of us.
our actual anniversary was on july 1 but we don't really do anything and i thought it would be nice to celebrate it at disney and chose citricos. i had no idea they did that and it was wonderful.
we definitely will be going back there our next trip
