now - anyone get luggage tags?

maybe they haven't done it for a few years but the last time we booked a cash resort we received luggage tags for all on the reservation.

this year i just received a confirmation letter.

oh and for some reason an envelope for payment even though we're paid in full.

11 Days til we're in Disney!!!

I am a little nervous cuz' I got rocked with the stomach flu on Monday and haven't felt great all week but I'm starting to feel normal again so now just praying the rest of the family dodges it! Please-oh Please! I have been planning this trip for a year! Don't let it get sidelined just when the goal is within sight! No! No negative thoughts! We're going to Disney World!!!

I woke up this AM saying, "at this time in 3 weeks ..."

I've been thinking that for the past two months....."in seven weeks, we'll be....", "this time in five weeks we'll..."

Too funny!!!

I can't wait!!!!

It's going to be a HUGE letdown when we come back....planning this trip has occupied so much time. I guess I'll be spending my time on Facebook more!

We had to change the date of our trip. Originally, I booked from July 10-19. Then we added two days to the beginning of our trip!

Now DH can't get those two days off work so we are back to our original date.

But we were able to add two days to the end of our trip!

Now we are booked for eleven nights...July 10-21! Woo hoo!

We haven't received anything yet for this trip. I am jealous. I want my stuff. We did get luggage tags both times we went last year. We were told we would get them this year also. I hope they come.

We got luggage tags the past 2 years.

Oh and update on the sunburn. It's not just the forehead. Turns out it's the entire face. Ouch!!

Just back from Toy Story 3! (This was one of the landmarks before the trip!)

It was incredible! So funny! If you love the first two movies, you will love this one too. I was a hysterical mess at the end! Even DH cried! So good!!!

Today was my last day of work - final packing of office and school picnic...won't feel real until Sunday night when I don't get the blues!!!
We will be in Florida in less than 2 weeks - Ft. Lauderdale first then Disney! I can not believe how close our trip is. DS (8) has AAU camp all next week to prepare the team for Nationals. So I have all week to get us ready for vacation.
One question for all you experienced July vacationers...Can I wear capris instead of shorts??? I have lost 60lbs but I am finding it extremely difficult to find shorts that I like! My legs look horrible -have to really work on toning this summer! I bought two pairs of shorts today but that is all I have! Don't want to stress over this...I have many capris and have been buying sleeveless light shirts. What do you think?
Add me to the list of July Anniversaries...DH and I will celebrate our 19th anniversary on July 27th! Next year is the big 2-0! We are planning a trip to Hawaii to celebrate!

Haha, that's funny! I remember being at my reception and when people asked me when we were going on the honeymoon, I was like, "Car's coming at 4:30am!" They thought we were nuts but we just wanted to be done with all the wedding stress and GO! I remember we had dinner at 'Ohana at 5pm adn went RIGHT to sleep afterward! We were exhausted! We did a week in WDW and a week on DCL.

Yeah, we were nuts and we should have waited a week, but we wanted to get away too.. We were just so tired the entire cruise (came back from excursions and missed dinner one night because we slept through it). I think we did one or two things on the boat at night, but were ready for bed at 10 every night.

So far received the following:

DME baggage tags to show we are using the DME and will not have to pick up our luggage at MCO.

Disney Maps that have the attractions we really want to make sure we hit.

but that is it, we haven't received anything else.

part of our problem is that we're leaving 10 days before we arrive in disney so if anything is coming that week we won't be home to get it.

i was very nervous last year with our cruise documents coming in because we were doing disney 10 days before our cruise

i had to specifically ask dreams to send the documents early so we'd have them or else send them to OKW where we were staying.

we got them 2 days before we left

Did you book a package or a room-only? Because it's my understanding that you now only get luggage tags if you have a package. I got the luggage tags and package information in one large 5x7 (or so) envelope one day, then the ME documents/tags the next day. This was maybe 4-5 weeks before our trip.

I booked a package- received DME tags about 4 weeks ago and WDW papers with a PhotoPass card to activate(that's new since our '07 trip) about 3 weeks ago.

Jumping on this thread a little late but with good reason.

I just booked this morning my first solo trip. Staying at Pop 7/3-7/4. A little nervous about the crowds but being that it is just me I'm hopeful it won't be too torturous.

I'm so excited I am already half packed. I do feel a bit guilty leaving my DD2 behind, but she is due for some bonding with daddy.

In 2 weeks I will be finishing up my packing and trying to get some sleep before heading out on the 90min drive to the airport at 3am.
