am i reading that right - you're only there for 1 night/2 days?

if that's the case - get the most out of your trip and head to MK when you arrive since it won't be long open by the time you'd get there then sometime in the afternoon when it's hot and you're tired head back to your resort for a few hours nap/rest then back to mk for EMH

there are changerooms somewhere around the pool - and you can leave your luggage with the front desk until it's time to go.

just keep your carry on with you and put it in a locker at Epcot. or ask if the front desk would keep it for you.

have a great albeit short trip :)

Yes, it is a very short trip but I'm looking forward to it. :cool1:

Thanks for the advice. I will only have a backpack and purse so not a lot to worry about. Yes, I'm a girl, but a smart packer. :yay:

Being that I'm arriving on 7/3 (flight lands at 9am), I'm probably going to head over to MK. Since it is open til 2am (as per Disney site), would I be okay with either:

a) hitting the pool at POP until my room is ready, take a nap and then head over to MK for the rest of the night.

OR

b) heading to MK for awhile, returning when room is ready for pool and nap time, and then head back to MK.

In regards to the 4th:
I am heading towards Epcot. My flight doesn't leave until 8:45pm so I'm guessing ME p/u is around 5:45pm. Would I be able to head back from Epcot for a swim and some food at POP in the afternoon until it's time to leave? Is there anywhere to change??

Sorry for all the questions. If anyone has any suggestions I'm open. It's just me and I only have 2 days but the thought of being in the parks for hours on end in the heat is a bit overwhelming.

Thanks!

If you are in Epcot around 4pm - we are having a Dis meet in France, near the bridge where you cross over from England - there are benches over to the right side.

Oh how wonderful! Thank you for the invite! If I'm not feeling too pressed for time I would absolutely love to attend. :yay:

I am writing it down right now on my agenda. :flower3:

Definitely try to meet up with us on the 4th in Epcot! I'm not sure about there being a place to change by the pool at POP.

I just responded. And I went back and remembered reading your honeymoon trip report last year. Too cool. :cool1:

Tinkerbell60. I'm so happy it's almost over. There are 7 days left of work. We have the 24 off (St-Jean Baptiste) since it's a holiday, and I was able to get time compensation. So I won't be going in on the 25 and the 28. So 5 days for me.

I have a packing list started but I don't want to forget anything important. Anyone have a good packing list they are willing to share?

I would so start packing right now, but I might be going to NYC for 3 days. So I need to figure this out before packing. I hate making plans with other people who are not as organized as me!

OH MY GOD

just got back from seeing Toy Story 3

Was it good - or just sad??????

both - it was really good and really sad at the end.

Poll:

If you use mister fans, which do you prefer: the large ones) like they sell in Disney World OR the small ones that you can hook on your person?

small one

I don't know yet but thanks to this photo I bought some of these months ago and the other day in the same section there were only a few left!

.

good idea from a business stand point - i just wish they weren't so expensive.

we did the photo share last year but can't advertise it this year so we'll have to pay the entire amount ourselves.

i hate paying if we don't get a lot of pics done but then don't want to lose them either

catch 22 - they got you so they can charge a lot for it.
Did you know that if you aren't happy with your photos/# of photos, you can get a refund? I am in a share with some friends from TGM. Maybe someone will PM you about sharing a photopass? You could get lucky! :rolleyes1

I vote get some rest if you're staying til 2am--get out of the heat!

It was a little sad at the end--even my DH thought so. Made all the worse by the fact that our DD will be off to college in just 2 short years. Where did the time go?

Today DH and I TOTALLY re-did our schedule. :dance3: I will post my ADRs and cancellations in a separate post, Nikki. I wouldn't blame you for not wanting to update them:headache:. We are no longer going to Epcot for the 4th, but rather will be in DHS for F! and the fireworks after. It was our only chance for Fantasmic and my greatest chance to avoid massive crowds.

Yippeee - luggage tags, photo pass card and all the goodies in my mailbox today! Had about 25 people at our house today for a going away/graduation party for my DS17, and now the countdown to next Friday when I drive him 6.5 hrs up to FSU :sad1:. Then the next big day will be the drive to Disney! I think I am just as excited as the kids! (okay....maybe I'm more excited!) :yay:
