We arrive the same day! Unfortunately, we are only at one park on the same day - July 30th - Disney Studios. I'll have to look out for you. Don't know what we'll be wearing yet, but we will be at the SciFi at 1:20.

According to the ADR list, you have dinner in Epcot on the 31st. That will be one of our Epcot days. Look for us.

Here's something interesting - I plugged out dates (June 28-July 12) into the WDW reservations system and there were openings at every resort, in almost every room category.

We've always gone in late June or July and I've never seen that much availability. I'm wondering if that means the parks will be less crowded, especially on the 4th of July.

We leave in 18 days and we're pretty much packed....I just have to go to the store and stock up on toiletries and laundry detergent to do a couple loads of laundry while we are there.

short term lurker........about 4 months, first time poster here.

been to DW 5 times first time on or around dec 79 (stayed at the old treehouse villas... my dad had an in at GE co who did big business w/ Disney at the time).

heres my question to all you experts: we are staying at WL (woods view bunk beds) 7/17 to 7/25. I have been before in the summer and i know its HOT and crowded. However, with the 4/3 over for July and the economy still struggling.... do you think the crowds may be a little thinner this year??? i just check availability at all values and WL and they are not sold out.

either way...crowded or not...who cares!!! we are going to Disney!!

btw i have two daughters 12 and 10 (this will be thier 4th trip)

FYI, Target has bins of travel size items including laundry detergent, shampoo, etc. At mine it's right by the pharmacy. Have fun on your trip!

I'm going in July as well. Staying at SSR for my 1st DVC stay. Celebrating my b-day while I'm down there. Dates are July 11 -18 (big celebration is the 17th....)
