We used it last time and I plan on using it for the next month with SWW and also my July trip. Are we still able to post the link to the pre-purchase discount? I had it saved but sadly my computer crashed back in February.

I have had pictures taken with photopass, but never go them viewed and ordered in time. It is only good for so long. Anyway, my sister was in the marathon in January and she used photo pass. I helped her make and order an album on the photo pass website. It was great. She was able to upload & use her own photos, her photo pass photos (which included the race photos) and she could select from albums of stock photos when creating her album. She was able to perosnalize her album with their family name and trip date. It was more expensive than using Kodak or Snapfish, but the quality is better and the photos are priceless. I'd say its a great value and for our priceless Disney keepsakes, do we want anything less?

Thank you soooooo much! Now for a stupid question: Does it say/or do you know how many pictures you are able to fit on the the cd? I had heard each picture 8x10 is around $12. Does anyone know if this is acccurate?

thanks again!!

Happy Thursday!!!

xoxoxoxo

I don't remember the prices for prints, but I do know that the amount of photos on a CD is unlimited! I've read posts of people with 1000+ pics getting as many CDs as it takes to fit them all on, all for the same price. I was clueless to all of this last year, but this year I'll probably stalk photographers :lmao:.

You can definitely get as many photos as you'd like on the cd. If needed, they'll ship additional cd's at no charge. I didn't order any actual prints from photopass, just the cd which comes with a right to the pictures so you can get the prints done at any picture place/kiosk and that's a lot cheaper! But if you go onto photopass's website you can check out the pricings on their differeint print options!

If I'm vacationing from July19-25, when should I pre-order my photopass CD? I know once you "claim" the pictures they are only available for 30 days, but I didn't know how ordering them this early impacts the time frame (since there would be no photos to claim yet).

Yes, I would say that is accurate. You probably want to compare and find that it is priced within the same range as the photos you buy after exiting certain rides.. such as Splash Mountain. I think that is right. But the photo pass 8x10's are about $12.00 each. However, if you get them all on a CD, you can print them yourself I believe. That saves more.

I do not think there is a certain time frame inwhich you are able to pre pay. however I could be wrong. I'd say as long as you pre-order before you leave for Disney and when you feel most comfortable that should be fine.

Ordering them early save's you 20% and the 99.99 basically covers unlimited amount of photos rather than going on vacation not prepaying and then spending around $12.00 per photo.

So figure if there is at least 8 pics that are taken during your time at Disney that you are happy with it would have paid for it's self. And like another person mentioned you are free to print out as many copies of each picture.

hope this helps..

just checked the photo pass website this is what it says:

That's great information, Lindsay! Thanks! I'm excited to pre-order my photopass cd+book for my honeymoon! We've never really done photopass, other than a few pics here and there.

We've preordered photopass on our last two trips and are doing it again this time. We love it! We just get the CD though, I've never gotten the book. On some trips we go with my brother and his family and we all just share one photopass and get copies.

Nikki, I have a cruise list. However, my cruise list is for my Alaskan cruise last August. (famiy of 5) If you're doing Disney Caribbean a lot of stuff might be different. I can email it to you. Post me a private note with your email address.

Mindy - Can I PM you for your Alaskan cruise list? We will be going in July '10 and I just have a packing list for warm weather cruises. Thanks!
