Does anyone have an updated link to what cakes are available (I'm sure it's here somewhere but I'm feeling a bit muddled and overwhelmed tonight...but all reservations are made except Pirates League!

If you find out, please let me know. I want to make sure that I pick the perfect cake for DD's birthday!

Talking about ordering cakes for birthdays..I ordered the Chocolate Slipper dessert for my mom. It will be our first night at WDW and we are having dinner at the castle!! She will be so surprised!!!

The only thing I haven't been able to completely figure out is how I am going to deal with my very curly hair with all that humidity. This will be our first visit to Orlando in July. We've always gone in March, April, October or November. It wasn't really overly humid at any of those times. Anybody have any thick curly hair frizz control ideas?

I alway have to wear a baseball cap. Nothing can control my thick frizzy hair

Have you tried the Garden Grocer? They deliver to your hotel in the Orlando area. We are trying this for the first time this year. Their delivery charge is $12, I decided by the time I shipped my water and snacks in I would pay that much to have it shipped. They have a great website.

I have thick curly frizzy hair also. Wish I could wear hats, just make me hotter. Hate it in a pony tail because it just looks like a big blob behind me. Last trip I would straighten it and then pull it back in a ponytail.

Just checked them out and really seems like a great deal. I will likely at least buy water. Maybe even have laundry soap, shampoo and snack foods sent. All I can say is wow!! What a wonderful idea. Thank you, thank you and thank you! Lois

Thanks! I did read on another thread that Costco will deliver to the resorts within 2 days of the order...so, I think I will go that route for two cases of water at only $6 each which includes the shipping! We'll be on the QSDP so we'll have plenty of snacks throughout the week!

Well that's how many days I have left, anyway!! But I'll be singing that song all day! I always do at my 76 day mark! I can't even believe how fast it's going now!!!! From a 15 month ticker to now just 2 and change. Unbelievable!

Here is the info from the other thread (I wasn't exactly sure how to "lift it" to quote here):

My last few trips I've ordered a case of bottled water from COSTCO delivered to my hotel.

COST: $6.79 delivered.


I order 4 or 5 days before my trip. You need to include your name, confirmation #, arrival date, hotel name & address on the shipping label. and yes, it all fits.
The hotel receives the package and links it to your reservation. On check in, they tell you you have a package and Bell Services deliveries it or you can pick it up.

Sure beats paying for water at the parks!!

Hope this helps! I'll be ordering from Costco for sure!

I love all the talk about cakes too! I think I will hope that the resturants will help us celebrate. Has anyone heard or seen what they are doing for us to make our trip special?

I'd like to know this too. I'm pretty sure my sister is being her usual sneaky self about things though. On our last trip she gave me a pair of goggles to use on my DiveQuest at EPCOT the night before we left. I got her the trip before though with La Nouba tickets. I guess it's my turn to surprise her, but it's my birthday and I want the surprises haha.

Thank you so much for adding our trip to your list! I can't wait!!

We will be celebrating one of our DDs birthday during our stay at WDW and I found the perfect for her today while looking at all of the yummy cake pictures on the cake board. It's a chocolate cake with a chocolate mousse filling and chocolate frosting w/chocolate shavings! If you haven't guessed, DD loves chocolate!

That's exactly what happens when I try a ponytail. Just a big frizz ball at the back of my head. I am seriously considering finding an someone who can corn-row my hair! I wonder what that style would look like? Straightening is so time consuming. In the 70's I often went for the Bo Derrek look, but back then my hair was all one length. Its much more layered now. I dont' know if that would work.
