Just added ADRs for Hallywood and Vine Fantasmic dinner package and Chef Mickeys.. I am getting very excited!!

Ooh when will you be at Hollywood and Vine? We're doing the Fantasmic dinner there on July 20th at 5:30!

Happy Friday everyone!!! Is anyone going to try the Pirate League when they go?

I want to try this for our girls. I was thinking the BBB, but I think I can fix their hair myself before we go to the princess breakfast and to 1900 park fare. (I bought them surprise desses at the disney store) The pirate league sounds like a little adventure and super fun for boys and girls.

That's funny! My DH is wondering why we have to go at all. He acts that way every year that we have gone. I do know, however, that he really likes a few of the rides a lot, so maybe we'll hit those first in order to get him into the Disney spirit! I sure hope that Disney hits my dh when we get there, cause he still doesn't understand why you have to go for 8 days to somewhere thats like Sea World

Hi all,

My family and I are arriving at SSR on July 12th and we're staying through the 19th. Will arrive by car, so can stay all day on the 19th. We're bringing me, Mindy, DH, DD 20, DS 17 and DD 7 as well as MIL and niece. This will be my 11th trip, my 4th as a DVC member. My MIL hasn't been to MK since 1973. And EPCOT since the year it opened. This will be my niece's first trip ever. We have reservations at BOMA, for all of us on Wednesday. We're all doing the CB at Cape May on Monday am. Hadn't done that one yet. Loved the one at Ohana, but not the menu. Too limited. Loved the CB at the Grand, but we've done that one. Time to move on. Just the ladies are doing the Afternoon Tea at the Garden View Lounge at The Grand on Tuesday at 2:20. I have ADR's for the 4 adults at Sanaa on Thursday at 6:30. We also plan on going to the RainForest by popular acclimation. I considered T Rex, but I like the menu at Rainforest better. DH and DS want to do the Segway Tour of Ft. Wilderness, but I haven't booked that yet. I want them to do that while we're at our tea. We also want to rent a pontoon boat and cruise around one of the waterways. Haven't pinned that down yet. Now, I gotta go back and read through more than 100 posts.

I just called WDW-Play and I booked DH and DS for the 11:30am Segway Tour at Ft. Wilderness. Its just before our 2:20 pm Tea Party, but that is the last tour of the day. They do 8:30 and 11:30. So I'm thinking that since MK has Early Magic Hours that morning, the ladies will head to MK right after breakfast, have some fun for a couple of hours and then return to our villa by noon to get ready for the tea. We could probably take the boat to DTD, then take the bus to the Grand. Anybody know how long it takes to get to the Grand by bus from DTD?

lol I totally understand how your DH must be..
my DBF loves wdw, but will rarely admit it.. even on the plane to Orlando last October, he was acting "too cool for school" (!) .. yet as soon as we were at SSR, checked in.. I planned to stay around DTD or go the Artist's Point for a quiet drink.. and he was like "ok! where's the extra magic hours tonight? let's go!!" .. the magic gets everyone once they are there

I know, he's something! Of course, I want to talk about the trip all of the time because I am excited but he does not like to talk about it at all. Now, if we were headed to a beer museum with all the beer you want for free, he would be jumping up and down with joy!

YAY! for people who are excited with me! People at work think I'm nuts. I even think I am starting to sound like the "band camp" chick on American Pie. "Honey, on Disboards, I read that you can get water for free in the park." "Today, on Disboards, I read that" .... you get the picture!

Last night, DD (9) and I were talking. This will be her first trip, and we told them Easter. She said "Mom, you don't talk about anything but Disney since you told us." The little devil waited a second and said "I like it!" in her impersonation of someone voice!

Ok, this may be a little early to do this but my DBF really can't help with the planning process and I need a place to organize my thoughts lol. I put together this list of where I think we will be eating.

A little early?? Most of us have finalized and BOOKED our restaurants already!! Where is your list?

hmmm yes! well i tried, but it's difficult as i'll be with a party of 8.. so i will have to 'go with the flow' a bit .. make sure everyone gets to do the rides/attractions that they want!

i may have also started to think about what to wear each day & evening outfits for dinners... .. and made long lists of things we need to buy still and pack

i luv planning wdw vacations!!
