The thing to know is they switch out (not just Scrooge/Clarissa, but Baloo/King Louie, Pinnochio/Jiminy, and maybe others), so when you get in line you might not get the character you want.

So DD did Clarissa since she had waited, but then went and sat on a nearby bench a little later on and she was first in line for Scrooge. This was a couple of hours in to the party I think so the lines for characters had dwindled I guess?

Just ordered fleece lined tights just in case! I have all the layers packed for every day. You just never know in December!

We had to run to a Walmart and Target during this trip because our 20s vibe fits for Jollywood were dresses. Was glad we did that and I'd previously picked up a nice jacket at a thrift shop that went with the outfits we wore just in case I needed one. DH wore his thermal under his dress shirt.

I was still freezing, lol.

Did MVMCP last night and it was less cold, but I still wore a jacket over a t-shirt and spirit jersey later in the night. I started the party with the t-shirt and kept adding layers.

I started the night with cute leopard print jeans and a black long sleeve…… I ended in the same jeans, a purple sweatshirt, black down vest and the best part Black socks under my sandals I will be more prepared this time.

Don't be sad! DD is huge on characters and she said it wasn't that hard (the rest of us didn't do them). She didn't try for Santa Stitch, Santa Duffy, or Phineas/Ferb since those seemed to be the hardest.

She felt it was way easier lines than at MVMCP.

I remember I went to San Francisco in the summer one year a long time ago and we packed for, well summer, lol.
California is all hot weather, right?

I was buying jackets off the street from vendors it was so cold! I later found out that was normal in the Bay area haha.

• Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and Daisy Duck – appearing on Hollywood Boulevard near Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway
• Goofy and Pluto – appearing by Pixar Plaza
• Minnie Mouse – appearing at Red Carpet Dreams on Commissary Lane

I know it's too far out to be accurate, but I checked next week's temperatures. If the predictions hold, it will be chilly at night. Make sure you have a backup outfit if the one you planned might not be enough.

I was in full panic mode trying to figure out how to bring extra clothing with just a carryon. Admitted defeat thanks to Westjet and will now be bringing checked luggage (I get it free anyway but wanted to avoid the hassle and potential issues). Still have to figure out plan B outfit though shopping time lol

I have definitely overpacked. I have also been known to rent a locker and change into warmer clothes as it gets colder.

After check-in I’m hopping a Lyft to target so I’ll definitely look for some warm leggings. Worst case I have a sweater I can throw in if I’m freezing.

I now have a checked bag to fit everything. It is what it is lol. Great idea. I am definitely hoping to get a locker for my two party days.

lol ya it’s all about what your used to I suppose. am sitting on an airplane waiting for them to de-ice the plane so we can take off, It’s -35 (-31F) so the idea of mid 70’s, well I packed my swim suit and will be using it. even 50’s is better than this. I might actually get a chance to defrost and warm up this week in Florida ◡̈

I’m from MN. It was 47 when we walked out of Jollywood. We were freezing . We had dresses with fur jackets and two pairs of tights. We did ok most of the night but the last 45 minutes to an hour were brutal.

Yesterday I was hanging Christmas lights in windy 27-degree weather.

Went to a football game on Christmas Eve 2 years ago, and the gametime temperature was 8.

It's early, but the 10 day forecast fro Dec 11 is high 78/low 61. Sounds great to me! I will be leaving the cold DC area on Dec 9 so will have multiple layers with me.

I wear a dress maybe 2-3 times a year, will not have anything like that with me!
