*** Official Jollywood Nights 2024 ***

It’s located at Stage 1 Company Store, the former Muppet*Vision 3D gift shop in Grand Avenue
Correct. The split the space into event merchandise and the magic shots. Both had longish lines during the mix in.

I only had a party ticket and they started letting people in at 5:30 on my night. The mix in time didn't feel like a real advantage for us compared to MVMCP when you can get a lot done in that time. Ride wait times were still long and we didn't want to watch Fantasmic.

Do you know if Santa Duffy was meeting during the mix in? I think he’s right next door to the magic shots

I was there last night, he may have started meeting before 7:30 but when we walked by at 6:30 the line was over an hour.

The Stage 1 area is not signed well, we waited in line 10-15m for the slow glow muppet photo but were actually in line for the merch store (both of which were moving during mix-in at 6:20ish).

Have they been consistently letting people in before 6pm? Wondering what time to get in line. Thanks!!
We were there on 11/16. We happened to get there around 5:20 and after a few minutes they started check us in and handing out wristbands at the ticket booth area. At 5:30ish they opened the turnstiles. I think there is just so little room in the turnstile area that when it is crowded they run out of room.

We did Jollywood last night and were victims of the 1st night last year. Wow. What a difference.

Kudos to Disney for actually taking our feedback, listening, and making it so much better. The bones of a great event were there but the execution matters. Last night was executed pretty flawlessly.

We ran out of time because there's a lot to do and the clock was ticking! Made it all the way to the very end after a 6pm entry. Made it to Fantasmic, then got to have some holiday food & drinks at Fairfax Faire, the Hollywood Holiday show with the Muppets, a reservation at Hollywood Brown Derby for apps & drinks, got to see the fabulous singer at the Tip Top Soiree at Hollywood Tower Hotel, the Latin fiesta in the Animation Courtyard and a cool Boomerang-style photo op there, Jingle Bell Jingle Jam fireworks, a handful of meet-and-greets by Echo Lake, the Nightmare Before Christmas Sing-Along show, a walk-on ride on Runaway Railway, the ice-skating show Glisten, some snacks from ABC Commissary, some quick shopping at the event merchandise store and DONE.

We managed to do ALL of that.. in 6 hours and could've done even more with less lallygagging... jollygagging?... but so much fun was had by all!

Did I read somewhere that the Skyliner doesn't run until the close of this event? We are going on 12/7 and staying at Rivera.

Correct. It stops at normal park closing time. The busses still run though
We just did an after hours event (Jollywood) at DHS, and as a heads up to my fellow crescent lake fam, they had only one bus going to Swan, Dolphin, Yacht, Beach, and Boardwalk (which I had not previously realized). I want to say it took 15m + from pulling away from the loading zone at DHS to get to BC and Boardwalk would have been another 5m on top of that.

How was it getting to Fantasmic on time and how were your seats?

It wasn't bad at all except that it was starting right as we arrived and I decided to head to the bar first for a grown-up strawberry lemonade. The good thing is that everyone was being directed to the far right of the stadium at that point but since it started, they just lifted the ropes on the dining package and accessible areas and we were able to get a great spot towards the middle about halfway down.

Do these characters have special outfits for the Jollywood M&G? (like they do for MVMCP)
Or their regular HS outfits?
  • Edna Mode and Frozone from The Incredibles – appearing at Pixar Plaza
  • Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and Daisy Duck – appearing on Hollywood Boulevard near Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway
  • Goofy and Pluto – appearing by Pixar Plaza
  • Minnie Mouse – appearing at Red Carpet Dreams on Commissary Lane

I know it's too far out to be accurate, but I checked next week's temperatures. If the predictions hold, it will be chilly at night. Make sure you have a backup outfit if the one you planned might not be enough.

Just ordered fleece lined tights just in case! I have all the layers packed for every day. You just never know in December!
