I just noticed that at Magic Kingdom, in the middle of January, there is no Festival of Fantasy Parades listed. Are they canceling this?

Pick any date in the middle of January. There is no Parades listed under "Parades" on their website schedule.

Does anyone know the times that the water taxis might be operating on January 11 to/from Disney Springs?

I just noticed that at Magic Kingdom, in the middle of January, there is no Festival of Fantasy Parades listed. Are they canceling this?

I'm not aware of any official announcements. Currently, the last parade is scheduled for December 20th, before it switches over to daytime showings of Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime parade starting December 21st. I suspect this is Disney being sloppy and removing the parade for Christmas, but not updating the calendar beyond that, but we'll have to wait and see.

I believe water transportation runs on a continuous 15-30 minute loop throughout Disney Springs operating hours, which would be about 10am to 11:30pm on January 11th. Subject to change!

Thanks! I definitely didn't know they operate the full Disney Springs hours, and I really wasn't sure if the water taxis operate in the evening. This is really helpful.

I wasn’t big on the Enchantment FW but will be cool to see them again, I just wish they wouldn’t have the AH parties on the same nights as the EEH. I’d definitely rather go to the AH at MK than the EEH at Epcot but would’ve been nice if it was a different night. We have the next mondays Epcot EEH still but with all the main rides in Epcot being so spread out it would’ve been more relaxing to split the park up over 2 EEH nights then to try to rush around to hit everything in one. First world problems for sure but it still stinks

Thanks for the update. My partner will be disappointed, he loves a good river rapids ride and was looking forward to this one. I'll have to let him down gently lol!

No! I love that ride. What’s with absolutely everything being closed this January? I’m really sad about this actually. I have an ADR at San Angel and had planned to ride before we eat. For some reason I really love this ride. This really sucks.

I know. So far that's Kali River Rapids, Big Thunder, and Grand Fiesta Tour all closing for maintenance on January 6. All rides we wanted to ride (Kali is my daughter's favorite at Animal Kingdom, I wanted my son to ride Big Thunder before the big refurb, and we all love Grand Fiesta) just 5 days before we arrive. But oh well. What you can you do?

Trying to keep perspective. Going outside of peak time, we get to enjoy whatever is available with hopefully lower crowds and cooler weather. The first time I visited DLR was in winter and there were heaps of rides down, particularly in DCA with the construction of Cars Land. I still had the most magical time

And half of Dinoland closing on the 12th. Oh well. Just hoping nothing else is closed. We’re also arriving on the 11th-30 days to go!!

Same! Do you think the restaurant will remain open, and, if so, do you think the ambiance will be the same or do you think there will be big construction walls up blocking the water view?
