Quick question. My hubby just finally scored us a reservation at Tusker House for breakfast, problem... it's at 805am. We are staying at the Poly... what's the best way to get there? And will there be a problem because AK isn't even open yet?

Get out to the AK bus stop, at the Polynesian, by 7..no later though. There are early buses that start running by 6:30, although they don't run quite as frequently as the regular park buses do. You need to be at the park entrance by 7:45 in order to make it all the way over to Tusker House for 8:00.

Can anyone tell me the best way to get to the Swan from Shades of Green? I know the Poly is across the street from SOG, so if the best way is actually from the Poly, that's fine by me. Are there any boats that go to or near the Swan?

Also, in case we don't actually make it back to the hotel before our dinner ressies, what's the best way to the Swan from Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom, and Epcot? We're going two different nights (50 percent military discount!! and just about the only character meals I could book at the last minute). Our schedule is kind of sketchy for a couple of days depending on when we go to MVMCP, so I'm just trying to figure out the best way from each place we might be just to cover my bases.

There will be buses that run between all parks and the Swan. If you are at SoG and need to get to the Swan, you can take a bus to DHS and then either boat or walk from there to the Swan. The boat takes about 15 mins once you are on board, but the wait can be up to 20 mins if you just miss one. The walk is about 15 mins as well...along a nice sidewalk, that runs beside the canal.
If you are at any park, you can just take the bus to the Swan from that park. The bus stops will be very well marked.
The only boats that run to the Swan/Dolphin are those that run between Epcot and DHS. There is no connecting boat service between the Epcot resorts and the MK resorts.

Yes, there is a bus directly to the Polynesian from DHS. You could also catch the MK bus from DHS. It will drop you at the TTC and you can walk over to the Polynesian from there...about 8 mins.

It may be a bit close. If Fanstasmic gets done by 7:15ish, then you should be okay. Head right to the buses and grab the Polynesian or MK bus. It shouldn't take you more than 45 mins from bus stop to resort..depending on wait time for the bus to arrive.

Does one of the park buses routinely stop at WL and then at the GF. We have a lunch booked at GF and I don't think I have to take a boat/bus to the MK and then get to GF by either monorail or boat.

I guess this is a Transportation question although a sad one !! If we spend the first few days at Universal , hence NO ME can we use ME to return to MCO after our Disney potion of the trip!!!

Sure. You can either reserve it now, before you get there, or just do it when you get to your Disney resort. No problem using it just one way.

We are eating dinner in DTD a few nights while we are at Disney and do not want to go all the way back to our room at All Star Music. So using Disney Transportation what is the fastest way to get from:
1. MK to DTD
2. AK to DTD

You all have the best info!

The fastest is always a taxi.

By Disney transportation:
From MK, walk over to CR and take the DTD bus from there.
From AK, take the bus to AKL and then the DTD bus.

What are my transportation options (and estimated times for each) from:

From Epcot to MK
Bus to TTC then either Monorail or Ferry to MK entrance.
From DHS to MK
Same as above.

Allow a min of an hour for each, from park exit to MK entrance, could be a little more or less depending on waiting time for buses, monorail, or ferry.

If you have to get from one to the other in a hurry you could always use a taxi.
It will probably cut the time at least in half.

Another option from either EPCOT or DHS is bus to Contemporary Resort and walk to MK (this eliminates the boat/monorail transfer). Search these threads for Robo's map of the path from CR to MK.

There generally is no bus from Epcot to TTC unless the monorail is out of service.

Sorry if this has already been covered but here it goes.

I need the best way to get from OKW to BC for Cape May Cafe (7:45pm ADR) and would I take the same way back? Also from OKW to the Boardwalk for Flying Fish (8:10pm ADR) and again, same way back? I'd also like to hang around BW for a little while so factor that into your plans. I'm not entirely sure I'll have to go from OKW to BW, I'm using that day as a hopper day so I'm not sure where I'll be, but I know if I'm at the parks I can just hop a bus there. I'll be going in January if that makes any difference (as far as parkhours and how late the buses run)

OKW to BC
Certainly the fastest and easiest way to get there would be to take a taxi. Just call Bell Services and they will have one at your building when your ready to go, and will have you at BC in no more than 10 minutes, at a cost of approx $10 plus tip.
By Disney transportation, probably get the first bus to DHS, (I believe they begin running around 6:30 am for ADRs) and then either walk (approx 25 minutes) or take the boat if they are running that early, to the YC/BC and walk to the BC from the boat dock (approx 25 minutes depending on how long you have to wait for a boat). Total time approx 60 minutes.

Keep in mind that it will still be dark and could be chilly that time of the morning.

To get back to OKW, just do the reverse. Or you could walk thru Epcot and take a bus back to OKW from there, but it will require a park admission.

OKW to BW
Getting to the BW from OKW is basically the same as above, from MK or AK just hop a bus to the BW as you said, from Epcot or DHS walk or boat.
Getting back to OKW from the BW at that time (Epcot and DHS might be closed by then, check the park hours for that specific day) if parks are closed, will probably require taking the bus to DTD and then transferring to an OKW bus. Figure at least an hour.
Or there's always the taxi, the valet desk at BW will get you one in a minute or two.
