**Official Frozen Sing-Along, Oaken's, Holiday Premium Package Tips, updated 1/5/15

I want to say it was about 15 minutes. There is video footage of the fireworks and show on YouTube, check and see how long they are.

Thank you :) I should have thought of looking on YouTube - I think the thought of actually getting to do some of the Frozen Fun froze my brain :goodvibes

I'm getting a little confused with all the information. I thought the Frozen events we're offered daily and it was the fireworks that we're only offered on the weekend. Would someone be able to clarify please. Thank you

We were there on Saturday the 19th and there were still plenty of tickets left for most of the shows when we picked ours up around 1. This was a "non-recommended day" so I would think as long as you went by early afternoon you should be fine, at least based on my (limited) experience.

Thank you sweetie!!

I was on the fence about cancelling my premium package but ended up keeping it. I was so glad I did! I'll post more details about my experience later when I'm on a computer instead of my phone.

From Disney's Website https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/events-tours/hollywood-studios/frozen-summer-celebration/

The package price went up $10 for adults.[/I]

Thanks for the heads up!

That's how I read what's on Disney's Website too.

Fingers crossed for you.

Last night, it got very crowded for firework viewing. There was no rain to thin out the crowds. We did the package twice. It's now up $10 in price, so I know we will not get our money's worth. We'd be doing it for the added fun of the dessert party. And it's nicer to be in the VIP line for the Premiere Theater.

Packages are going fast this morning. Don't wait too long to decide.

Thanks! I booked a package. I know we won't get our moneys worth but DH hates fighting the crowds for fireworks so for that part alone it may be worth it. I doubt we will even go to the sing along which makes it even worth less.

Just wondering if anyone could guess what time the fireworks will be with a closing at 7:30pm? Also, since we aren't getting PH this trip, how would viewing of the fireworks only be out in front of the park, past the baggage check area?

Welcome to all the newcomers and new lurkers. I've compiled all the important information for FSF on the first post of this thread. Things like where to pick up your free tickets for the Sing-along show, the parade route, information about iceskating, photo-ops, etc.

I'm sure I've missed something along the way, so feel free to call it out for me to add to the first page.

There is no premium package on my HS day which is my sons 5th birthday and he loves Frozen, do the frozen sing along tickets give out fast? will I have time to ride TSM and be able to get tickets for anyone who has been?

That's a bummer, but you still can have a great time at FSF without the package. I have a continuous running Trip Report going. There is an index and you'll see we had a great time without the package.

You can order a birthday cake at any table service restaurant. There is a cake thread. They are costly but they taste great and look beautiful.
There are frozen cupcakes at several locations. You could celebrate with a cupcake instead of cake.

Maybe on the holiday weekend they might go fast. But typically they haven't been. We've been able to get 12:30 at 10:45. And 1:30's were still available at 12:30.

I'm so happy this is being extended!!

Can I just ask how long the fireworks last? (I'm trying to work out if I will have to amend my dinner ADRs).

Also, does anyone think there will be much difference in crowds on 27/9 and 28/9??

Thanks!!!

Isn't it great! So many more people can enjoy it now.

The fireworks are about 10 minutes long. Last night they started 10 minutes late though. It hadn't rained, so I'm not sure why there was a delay. But if it storms, the fireworks could be delayed. I think one night they were cancelled.

I agree about the tickets. Most days there's no hurry to get them. Though the 12:30 show consistently fills to capacity.

Well it's a good start moving towards our travel dates ... If they add 5 more weeks of Frozen Winter Wonderland or Frozen Winter Fun or Frozen something then I'd be so happy since anything is possible : ) Congrats to everyone who is able to experience all the FUN through out Sept.! Also thanks for all the info peeps!

That would be great if things continued in some way. "That which we call a rose by any other name..."

WHEW! Looks like, since our planned DHS day is a Thursday, we won't have to suffer through the Frozen-palooza. And even better, perhaps that will mean weekdays will be less crowded as others shift their planned attendance days to the weekend...and even BETTER perhaps the few Frozen offerings that will be there daily will siphon crowds away from the things I do enjoy.

Nice!

I think we'll see less crowds on the weekdays. Weekend evenings, and possibly days will be more crowded than they have been.

What is the route that the parade follows, and does anyone know what time of the day the parade takes place?

I'm just trying to determine if this will interfere with anything I will be doing on my one HS day, which will not include anything Frozen if I can help it, lol.

You'll find that info and much more in the first post of this thread.

Starts near the Cross Roads sign with the Mickey on top and proceeds down Hollywood BLVD where it stops at the hat stage for the welcome. A&E get back in their carriage and proceed down towards Star Tours where it ends.

The parade is about 4 minutes long, the welcome about 6 minutes. The parade begins at 11am.

I'm getting a little confused with all the information. I thought the Frozen events we're offered daily and it was the fireworks that we're only offered on the weekend. Would someone be able to clarify please. Thank you

Everything is offered daily now through Sept 1st. After Labor Day, the Premium Package and Fireworks are limited to the weekends. Everything else continues as it's been.

Just wondering if anyone could guess what time the fireworks will be with a closing at 7:30pm? Also, since we aren't getting PH this trip, how would viewing of the fireworks only be out in front of the park, past the baggage check area?

If DHS doesn't alter the closing time, the fireworks would be at 7:15 and Fantasmic at 8:00.

The view of the fireworks from the walkway that leads to the Boardwalk area is excellent. wdwmagic.com filmed the fireworks from that area and it was perfect.

That's great question. Hopefully someone with HUB access can let us know for sure.

I was wondering the same. REALLY hoping to see F! and these fireworks, but it would have to be the same day.

People have been able to do them both. Though there's been a few complaints about children not being able to view fireworks on Hollywood Blvd after F! and some complaints about the crowds to see F! after the fireworks.

I was on the fence about cancelling my premium package but ended up keeping it. I was so glad I did! I'll post more details about my experience later when I'm on a computer instead of my phone.

Great! Look forward to hearing about it.

Thanks. Is that coming from the HUB, or a best guess?

I think the park hours will be changed. But I guess that's wait and see too.

Here's my question, for those who have been there: do you think we will have time to watch the Frozen parade, perhaps from the American Idol steps or a little closer to Star Tours, and make it to an Indiana Jones FP+ at 11:15 a.m.? Would we still be able to get into IJ if we were a few minutes late?

Thanks!

Only because the fireworks would have to begin before park close and leave enough time to load the Fant amphitheater for the 8:00 show.

The park hours will probably be extended and a second Fant added on. So, fireworks could possibly be at 8:45 with a 9:00 park close and the second Fant at 9:30. Studios will probably keep adjusting after the first weekend once they take a look at park attendance for that first fireworks-only weekend.

Ok I'm a bit confused and I'm hoping you guys can clear it up for me. Now that Frozen is extended, will all of the events still take place everyday and just the fireworks on the weekends? I guess I don't understand what the premium package is and how it is different? We aren't interested in frozen and I'm trying to decide if changing our HS day to a Monday ( instead of Sunday) is a better option.

Sorry if these have already been asked and answered.

Do I get to pick my sing along time or do I get what they give me? Does everyone need to go get in that line for tickets or can we send part of our group?

We have 10:30 ADR at H&V. Can I send one adult and the kids who care out to see the processional in the middle of the meal?

So stressful - 5 kids. 2 want to do Jedi Academy. 1 will be all over everything Frozen. 2 want to hit RnR and ToT as much as possible.

I loved Frozen but am I the only one getting increasingly annoyed at Disney changing things at the last minute? You have to plan every detail of your vacation months in advance and of course I scheduled HS for Sunday, Sept 21st. While I'm glad there will be extra stuff for us to see, I would have attempted to avoid the Frozen madness as my 2 year old son doesn't care much for it. It was supposed to be a fairly low crowd day too, which I'm sure had flown out the window. When I booked my vacation last year I had tried to avoid F&W fest for the same reason but then Disney added a week.:headache: I haven't done any research on the special events because I wasn't planning on seeing them. Someone please give me some advice as to what is a can't miss that I need to add into my touring plans and what is okay to skip. Thanks so much and sorry for the rant.:worried:

it looks like we will need to go down to HS in the evening on our arriving weekend while we are at Universal. We will just drive down one night for them. So which night would be better for the fireworks Saturday or Sunday?

Awesome amount of information!! Great job!
I'm personally sitting here thanking the LORD that it's only happening on the weekends come Sept! We luckily won't be at dhs on a weekend and won't have to deal with those crowds!

Do you think they will open up more dates if weekends sell out?

So now I am thinking about changing my HS day to the 4th of sept instead of the 31st of august. I have the package so I know that would not be an option but besides losing that, and not seeing fireworks, anything else I would miss? I'm thinking we can come over after dinner at Epcot for the fireworks and dance party on the 31st or 1st. Lower crowds would be a great +!
