Hello all!

We are in the beginning phase of planning a Feb. 2013 trip..the week of the 2nd-9th. Does anyone who has been there during this time know if they still do the Wishes fireworks, electrical parade and other special night time shows during early February? I'm also nervous about possible ride closures and hoping it's nothing that my kids will miss too much. We went in October 2011, so planning a Feb. trip is all new to us! Any advice on what to expect ride and show wise is appreciated. Thanks in advance

We went this past February. They have the fireworks, parades, Fantasmic, etc. However, depending on when you go in February, they might be less often than during peak season, such as Fantasmic not every night, only one MSEP instead of two, etc.

This year, BTMR was closed for refurbishment, Dumbo was closed for the Fantasy Land Expansion. But I think any time of year you could be hit by refurbishments, as Test Track is still closed now and BTMR just reopened recently.

So excited to find this thread! We're hoping to go around Presidents Week. We were able to get free dining in 2011 by arriving the Thursday before Presidents Day - fingers crossed for similar in 2013! We'll be at Riverside again - the last two times we stayed there we got the very same room! What are the chances of that?! Do they keep records of those kinds of things?

I hope so because we want our very same room we had at the CBR last October I noticed that they offered free DP through December '12. What are the chances they will extend it through February? We are going the first full week 2-9th and I'm hoping they do!!

Quick question on the dining plan offers (not that there is one yet..but just in case!) When it says you get fd with a 4 night/5 day park ticket package, is that what you are limited to? What if you plan on being there 7 nights/8 days? Would you still get the free dp?

I believe the free dining is a minimum of 4 nights. At least that was the case last time. You have to check the offers. And as long as you check in on a day where FD is in effect, even if it is blacked out the rest of your vacation, you can still get FD for the whole time.

So we're going from February 10-20! Staying offsite at our usual condo and doing Disney and maybe Universal

I am another one going early in the month, the 3rd thru the 10th!! My husband and I, and my sister and her husband, no kids!! Very excited as none of us have been there in at least 10 years. My sister said the other day "250 days!" That seems so long but we've been planning since Christmas so it is coming fast!!

Hi, all! So happy to join this thread (even though I haven't been able to read through all of it yet!)

We went in Feb. 2012 and going back again!

I am running in the Princess Half Marathon!!! (Hubby says I'll do just about anything to get to Disney! )

We will probably arrive 2/22-2/28. My DD's 6th birthday is also during the trip, so it will be lots of fun! Haven't decided where we are staying yet. The kids want to stay at POP again, but it's unlikely that it will be a host resort for the event. Hmmm... don't know what to do.

But, at least I'll be at Disney.
