How do we join the facebook group?

We are going to Disney Feb 23 - March 2, 2013. We are staying at either Art of Animation or Coronado Springs. Havent decided yet. Would love some opinions on the matter.

Any idea on when booking will open for 2013?

We are planning to be there the 2-9th. Hopefully staying at the Treehouse Villas again (though that may be a pipe dream). Fingers crossed we'll feet Free Dining and be able to book our package soon!

Hi, all! So happy to join this thread (even though I haven't been able to read through all of it yet!)

We went in Feb. 2012 and going back again!

I am running in the Princess Half Marathon!!! (Hubby says I'll do just about anything to get to Disney! )

We will probably arrive 2/22-2/28. My DD's 6th birthday is also during the trip, so it will be lots of fun! Haven't decided where we are staying yet. The kids want to stay at POP again, but it's unlikely that it will be a host resort for the event. Hmmm... don't know what to do.

But, at least I'll be at Disney.

Quick question. I'm running for the first time this year. What do you mean by host resort. Sorry thats probably a stupid question just not totally sure what it means.

Hi Everyone! This is my first post on the DIS!!! I have been lurking for a while though. We are planning our first family vacation for FEB '13!!! I have a DD 6 and DS2. We are going to surprise them with this trip.

We are thinking dates of Feb 4-11 and probably staying at All Stars Movies. The kiddos love Toy Story and it looks so fun. I am hoping for Free Dining but will probably get the DDP no matter what.

I'm excited to start planning!

Yay! It's my first time running it as well! Certain resorts will be designated as "host" resorts and there will be special transportation from the hotel to all the weekend events. If you haven't already, come join the Princess thread on the WISH board. Tons of great info and helpful princesses!

I'm Kim Smith on True. We are headed back feb 2013 but it's looking like at the end of the month for us. Your dates look good for Free Dining if history repeats. Can you adjust those dates a few days if needed?

My husband and I will be making our trip Feb 2-10. I was in between Wilderness Lodge and Boardwalk but eventually settled on Boardwalk since it's nice and close to Epcot. Can't wait!

Sorry to hear that you won't be a February 2013-er. But how great that your trip will be sooner now! Not sure how it works with closing and restarting a thread, but you shouldn't have to worry about updating a thread for a time that you aren't going

I thought that was you! I finally ventured over here! I am getting so excited for our trip. I just need Gabe's next surgery to go well and get him all healed up!

Our dates are pretty flexible. So should I book our dates and then if need be, change them when Free dining dates are released?

We've got hotel and transportation arranged. We let the ticket price increase go by, so we'll probably wait to buy admission until late December or early January. What tickets we buy will have a lot to do with whether we plan on another return trip in January 2014 or not. That will also have a lot to do with what we do about food. If we are making another return trip, then we'll buy annual passes, and the Tables in Wonderland card. If we're not making another return trip, then we'll probably just do a four day pass, or use this trip to visit Sea World and other attractions, and do a lot of off-site meals.
