So excited! Pat Anderson just called me back to reconfirm my order for Friday!:banana::hourglass
8in vanilla cake butter cream & fresh raspberries filling
Hot pink fondant w/ black hearts full of sparkly jewels
Bling Bling ;) price $83.00

I hope it is awesome!

I was so excited and so pleased with my DD's birthday cake I just had to share it =) Your also welcome to add it to the character cake index if you like. This was made by Chef Brian at The Contemporary and delivered to CRT as a surprise to DD. It is white cake covered by vanilla buttercream (I requested no fondant) and a passion fruit filling. It was amazing in person and the waiter was showing it off as he carried it, we got so much attention at our table for this cake. I was quoted $60 and I truly believe it was above and beyond worth this price and it was delicious as well! Many kudos to Chef Brian!

it was a 6 inch which by the way is alot of cake lol! We ate it right up until our last day and still left behind a quarter of the cake. It was white cake with vanilla butter cream icing and passion fruit filling and it was moist and delicious:thumbsup2

There are 5 adults and 2 very young children in our party (ages 4 and 2) - and we don't want to bring the cake back to our room. Do you think we'll have enough?:goodvibes

Yes, we ordered two cakes on our last trip, one was a six inch which was perfect for the 7 of us (5 adults and 2 kids (5 and 3)) with everyone having more than enough and then a 10 inch which was enough for the whole week plus we ate it through the week and still threw some away at the end of the week.

(I still have to load my pictures so everyone can see the amazing cakes we had) :)

If you're staying at the Beach Club Resort you would order a cake thru the Yacht & Beach Club's private dining. :thumbsup2

Just placed my final order for our cake in October. Can't wait to share photos!

I am looking for some advice and I thought I would start here. My daughter's birthday will be during our upcoming disney trip and i would like to get her a custom cake. i want to get a cake with a giraffe theme. We have had a great cake from Chef Brian, but not sure if I can get it delivered to WC Cafe. We will also be dining at the GF and AKV Boma so location to have cake delivered is not a problem. I'm leaning toward AKL Boma only because of the animal theme, but Chef Brian made a fabulous cake for my wife last year. Suggestions? Anyone have a really great or bad experience from any of these three bakeries?

Yes—the Contemporary Resort bakery delivers to Wilderness Lodge.

It can be really difficult to get a fancy cake made by AKL, and results have been mixed. The easiest thing to do would be to have Chef Brian at the Contemporary make you one for delivery to Whispering Canyon. The Grand Floridian also does lovely cakes, but they charge more than the Contemporary.

Thank you very much. i was leaning toward Chef Brian. Also, we are staying at VWL it will be easy to drop cake off at room.

Again, thank you.

I have already received the information for my cake from Sous Chef Ben (I think Brian is away right now). I was wondering if I call the cake order hoteline now, do you think I should confirm with Chef Ben or the cake hotline closer to my date? The cake is for Oct 31stpirate:

Do you know if Pat at GF has an email that I could email a picture of the cake I want?
