I think the point was to try a few different numbers and get a bigger pool to go from. Sometimes a party of 2 table is taken but a part of 4 is available.

Thanks. Yes, we have done that in the past when a reservation for 4 shows up but nothing for 2 is available.

I’m confused. We are a party of 2 and I mentioned it my post. Why would I need a table for 5? they’ve never required me to book a larger table than we need in the past. Has this changed? We plan to dine here on our last night as us our tradition (10+6) so hopefully that will help.

Chef de France is all about the French martini theirs is fantastic.

Oops I didn’t read the ‘2’. I just wanted you to be aware of what I encountered during Spring break trying to book for a party of 5 (us).

I was looking at Upclose with Rhino. Were you able to get it 60+2? Did it open at midnight or 6 am ET?

We haven't been since November of 2018 (we had a canceled 2020 trip) and we are so excited. So many new rides for us! Nervous about crowds but we did this same week (16-24) in 2017 and it actually wasn't too bad. But I know everything is more crowded now. We were planning to stay offsite but ended up switching to ASM so we can actually get some dining reservations and have the option to do early entry - I was getting nervous.

Do others think Fantasmic will be back by our trips? That would just be icing on the cake for me.

It should open sometime this year. I’m pretty sure there is pressure to have it open for our company event Dec 2-4 (Big Star Wars fans; close company ties; Golden Oak members).

I would definitely buy Genie+ for MK and HS (set expectations low for HS to 4 passes). It’s hard to book ADRs for first 4 days of trip as everyone is now booking longer trips. Weather should be better though.

Also, to take advantage of the extra 30 mins you need to be at the front gates at least 15 mins before (could be longer).

Question - we are not staying in a Deluxe resort, so we do not qualify for the Extended Evening Hours. Our HS day is December 15th - and that is a EE hour night.

Will this make the park very crowded in the evenings? Should I switch my reservation to a different day?

Most observers state that the extended evening hours don't have as much as an impact than the former extra magic hours since it's only the deluxe hotels that qualify. I wouldn't switch my reservation.

Today was my ADR day and I was able to get everything I wanted. I went back in at 7 and was able to add space 220 lounge then went back in at 10 and added Oga’s cantina

Went much smoother than I was expecting based on what I had been reading here.

I did not try for any character meals.

Ugh. After reading the above post, I just realized that our MK day 12/21 is also extended evening hours. What will this mean for fireworks? Will they still run them for regular park guests? We chose this day in particular (our first MK day is a party day) because we wanted one night of MK fireworks. Does anyone know?

Today was my ADR day and I was able to get everything I wanted. I went back in at 7 and was able to add space 220 lounge then went back in at 10 and added Oga’s cantina

Space 220 lounge was 60 plus 6. It was an afterthought 45 minutes after I was done. I booked it around 7ET. I did not check other days. I was able to get it for 12:30. We are a party of 2.

The MK fireworks will be during regular park hours. You don't have to worry about that. Only the rides are effected.

I did not get what I wanted but, did get Sci Fi after going back in checking over and over. I got a 3:15 time and wanted 5:00. Better then nothing. I also was trying for either for a Topolino’s or an Ohana breakfast. No luck at all. Nothing showed up. The reservations I got were Sci Fi and Tony’s . I really don’t like Tony’s, but my granddaughter does. I was trying for Steakhouse 71 dinner instead and no luck with that. I guess I can’t expect much with only being able to search 3 days. Hopefully my next go around will be better. We move to the Polynesian for 4 nights. Next year I don’t think we will do a split stay. It’s just a hassle trying to get dining.

Try again soon for 'Ohana. I saw a post on Facebook today saying there was a glitch for 'Ohana making it impossible to find reservations. Hopefully something shows up for you.

We booked GF2 for the first time Dec 2 - 8. Very excited to kick off our ownership at this resort!

We are also signed up for Sangria University this trip so expecting at least one morning with a headache afterwards!
