Looking for suggestions/info about our Dec trip. Touring Plans is showing HWS as crowd level 7 on Thursday of our week and level 6 on Friday. I am thinking about flipping our days around, but I was wondering if HWS is normally more crowded on Thursday than Friday? Just wondering... thanks!

Thursdays are the extended evening hours for deluxe guests at HS. If you’re not staying at a deluxe or using those hours, maybe switch.

That is a good idea, as we are staying at POFQ, so no extended evening hours for us. I am going to switch our days. Thanks!
ETA - It looks like HWS only has EEH on Dec 15 and Dec 22, but I think we will still switch dates around.

This is crazy those aren’t updated (Club level guests are ok with this?) and we have to decide ADRs and park passes.

Tusker is going back to being a buffet soon btw (Nov 1st). The family style just doesn’t appeal to our family. We prefer Boma’s menu and it’s a short bus ride away.

What day (60+3, 60+4) were you able to get CRt and Space220? Any Ohana openings?

CRT was completely dumb luck for me! We’re doing a split stay (1 night at Pop followed by 6 nights at Yacht) and I was only planning on making adrs starting from our Yacht adr day and then realized while I was playing around on the site the day before that my Pop night opened up our first park day, too. Decided to check CRT and there was lots of availability! So that was 60+1. For Space 220, we’re doing that on our departure day, so 60+7 (though I guess that’s really 60+6 from our Yacht adr day) and there were lots of times available and I was even able to go back in a few times to modify to slightly earlier times (want to make sure we don’t feel too rushed trying to get back to Yacht for our airport pick up).

I would guess that since the website says "dates in December", that the last date offered for the month will be the 28th at MK and that they won't have anything else through end of month. That's just a guess, though. Good luck with ADRs!!

I read talk about getting rid of the extended hours (speculation on another thread here) since the after hour events start in January. Hopefully they have extended hours for Epcot Jan 2nd!

Deluxe is still way over priced and Disney needs to fill those rooms. They could still have both (After hours works better for our family).

I was looking at the ‘chart’ at the bottom of the extended evening hours page. They updated the wording but not the chart (ends Dec 22nd). I really had my hopes up for HS on 12/29. Oh well.

Earlier this year January 2022 MK EEH were on Wed and Epcot EEH on mon; hoping they will continue

Thanks, yes I’m still trying off and on.

I did the rest of my ADR’s today. Nothing available for Topolino’s breakfast or Ohana breakfast. I did get a 9:30pm dinner for Ohana on our last night. Which is alright because we need to get back earlier that night for our flight the next morning. I’m going to keep trying to move the time earlier

Keep an eye on hours; Mk is open late and one hour earlier - deluxe hours to push 11-1 am.

I'm still keeping my eye on the MK fireworks for our week in December. I wish they would update the rest of the month. My DD specifically wants to see Enchantment and not Christmas fireworks so I have to keep checking in case I need to adjust our park reservations. In the past, I seem to remember after the last party (12/22 this year) they do Christmas fireworks every night at MK.

I was able to find a Steakhouse71 dinner reservation for our Nov 29-Dec 3rd trip yesterday. That was more than 10 days after our original 60 day ADR date.

I got a steakhouse 71 dinner with the perfect time!

Raglan Road in Disney Springs normally serves a Christmas day meal like you'd find at a table in the British Isles. (Turkey, roasties, stuffing, brussels sprouts that sometimes even get eaten.) Or their normal menu.
Like Shula's, it's on Open Table so you can book before your ADR.

Good idea there - I should look for some special meals for Christmas Eve and day. Problem is that they haven’t been officially announced have they - so need to guess based on previous years.

Our ADR day was 10/15 and I got everything I wanted except Boma. It showed zero availability for Boma the whole week we are there, so I am thinking those ressies haven't dropped yet.

Skipper canteen lunch
Tusker House breakfast
PPO Ohana Breakfast
Coral Reef Candlelight Processional dinner (this restaurant is new to us; I know it gets mixed reviews but my daughter wants to try it)

Our plans are firming up nicely from when I last posted in here. We are at AKL from 12/8 to 12/10, then check in to BCV from 12/10 to 12/15. Our friends then leave to fly back home, and my wife and I transfer to Gaylord Palms for my conference over the weekend (which thankfully wraps up around 5:30pm each day, leaving plenty of time for park evenings!) and then we fly home on Sunday 12/18.

I got most of the reservations we wanted for our trip, except for Space 220 Lounge (of course), and we the Starlight Safari which we were hoping to do on our arrival evening at AKL. Sadly, that was already gone, but neither of those two were top priorities for us. I did get us Keys to the Kingdom for 12/13, which will be great, as that's a party day, so hopefully MK crowds will be light, and we can enjoy the rides there, then head do DS where we have dinner at Homecomin'. We'll be doing the Xmas Party on 12/11, and Sangria University before it, so we should be nice and relaxed by the time we get to MK!

I'm still keeping my fingers crossed that my wife and I can do Le Cellier on either the 16th or 17th, as a final dinner. I'm needing to do these "day of" right now, and there was nothing available at 6am this morning for the 16th. Not sure if it's worth getting up stupidly early tomorrow morning to try for the 17th, or if I just keep checking randomly and hope some one cancels closer to time...

Hope that everyone else's trips are all coming together!

The only issue we had was that we are meeting extended family in Epcot one night during our trip and a table for 11 was out of the question anywhere before around 8:30pm which doesn't work because we want to see fireworks. Did you try splitting the number of people and try for 2 reservation around the same time for the 11 at Epcot?
