Just a quick hello! I'll get the first page updated again this weekend!!

In the thick of planning our fall Fun Night for school, and meetings on meetings for my two PTO boards. I have a very strong feeling this busywork is going to make the time before the trip fly by!

Oh my goodness! Back to school has had me in a flurry and I haven't looked at this thread in awhile!

So, I've only seen Wishes scheduled on the night we arrive, December 17th - and not for the rest of the week we're there. Is this because of the Christmas party? Will this be the only time we'll get to see Wishes unless we're at the party?

Also - I was reading about several people who want to decorate rooms for Christmas. Amazon does "Prime Now" in Orlando if any of you are Amazon prime members, and it's free 2 hour delivery to the resort. I have seen some seasonal items on the website as well. Just a thought.

Until the 23rd, non-party night Wishes is just regular Wishes. Party nights will have Holiday Wishes.

We changed our party day plans AGAIN. I have an Ohana breakfast on Tuesday 12/13 @ 8:35am for 4 people that I'm going to cancel. I also have a 9:45am for Cape May the same day that I thought I canceled when I made the Ohana last week but never did. Anyone need either?

Happy Saturday everyone

Hit another lull in planning...nothing to do until FP day except stalk that Star Wars party.

On the home front, I'm working on Fall Fun Night at school. Every year for the past four years I say I'm not going to do Fall Festival, but I always do. Last year at elementary I had to plan the thing because I was PTA president. Now, both kids are at middle school, I ended up on the VP of the PTO board there out of guilt, then volunteered to help chair Fall Fun Night. I must be a glutton for punishment, that's all I can figure. I had to ask the assistant principal, who I've never even spoken to, if he would agree to be duct taped to a wall. There's an ice breaker, folks.
Hey, I just met you, and this is crazy, would you let us, duct tape you maybe??

DH is out of town and I need to come up with something fun to do today...maybe take the kids out Pokemon hunting. But it's kind of cloudy and my dogs are all snuggled up around me on the couch, so moving is low priority right now!

Every trip I look over the offerings from Disney Floral, but I just cannot justify paying for it. Same goes with ordering a custom cake. I want to do it, but I can't pull the trigger.

Fall Fun Night sounds like fun & who doesn't want to get duct taped to the wall?! We're having a beach day. Probably the last one of the summer. Next week is dd' birthday. I need to finish the planning.

For a second I was thinking oh cool a $199 tree option but then thought about how tall an 18" tree really is. Lol. Maybe I'll look into an Amazon one.

My sil left for Disney this morning & my poor friend that was going this week has to postpone because her dad needed heart surgery. She was the one going to the SW dessert party. I hope she can get her $ back for that.

Hi everyone! Joining in here...we have our first ever family trip to DW planned for Dec. 20th to the 28th. Flights are paid for and a 3br. treehouse at SSR is booked(not completely paid off yet!). We have 8 kids, ranging from 23 to 1 yr old and none of them have been to DW. I've been more times than I can count but haven't been in over 23 yrs(since I moved from FL). Anyway...Christmas is HUGE in our house(my 3rd child's birthday is Christmas day) and we want to carry over some traditions while we are at DW. I already bought our matching PJs for Christmas morning and we will take our traditional picture of the kids coming down the stairs on the outside staircase of the treehouse. I wanted to get a tree down there, but after seeing the ridiculous price, I think I will bring our own and decorate the space ourselves...will be more fun in the long run. We have the Chef Mickey Christmas Day buffet booked, and have one table side reservation booked for each day. Is there anything special we should do while we are there that is just there at Christmas? And anything special for my daughter for her birthday? So much has changed since I was last there. Years ago you just went and rode the rides, bought a stuffed Mickey and some mouse ears and that was that....so much planning now a days!! it's overwhelming.

Is anyone else in Candlelight Processional "Narrator TBA" limbo like me? I already have my CP/ADR combo, so who I get, is who I get. I just wish I knew who. It's to the point that I am constantly refreshing Allears in the hopes that I can see who it will be.

I'm right there with you. We're going to the one 12/11. Hoping for someone good but mainly just wishing they'd release who it is.

Yep, we're booked for the 22nd and it's TBA. Actually, I kind of forgot about it! I haven't checked in a long time. I'm curious, but I don't have any control over it, so I'm hoping it's someone great, but it doesn't really matter to me who we end up with.
