**Official December 2010 Thread!!**

So for those who are having Disney Florists or one of the others deliver stuff to the room when are you ordering it? I am also wanting to get a cake made I just have no clue when I should order them. I know the cake can wait for another 2-3 weeks but not sure about the basket.

Can anyone help me with ideas of things to put in it. I want Holiday things.
So far all I have is the light up lanyards and Christmas Mickey ears. I would like one maybe 2 more things for each of the kids. We are going to order from Betsy and have her make one big basket for the kids to get when we arrive. Figure its less for me to try and hide when I pack LOL.

OUCH- where did she buy them from? I would have her call disney, explain the problem (or even go up to the guest services window on site and talk to them in person when you arrive). Surely disney would help you do something given it was a mistake and you can't really use them and aren't even eligible. i would think that when buying FL resident passes you would have to show ID for each one to prove you are FL resident because isn't it cheaper?

She bought them from WDW. disney.go.com
BUt it says right on there no returns or exchanges?!
Each person would have to show a valid drivers license or proof of residency in the state of florida! So were SOL> I do not know what's going to happen now? Maybe she can use them or sell them to a florida resident.
SHe is going to call Disney tomorrow and see if they will do anything for us.

I haven't gotten my ME packet yet either.. I am keeping an eye on the mailbox for them! December 10th will be here before I know it! Staying in a 1 bedroom villa at Wilderness Lodge Villas.. Last time I stayed on Disney property was over 6 years ago at Ft. Wilderness Cabins. Looking forward to the Villas!

I just realized that for the first time ever, we will not be doing MK on our last night at WDW. That is going to be weird. Still waiting on my mail

If it makes you feel better we never get to the MK first. It never works out for us to go there the day we arrive. Thankfully Epcot is tied for my kids fav park and that one worked out this time. We actually aren't going to the MK until day 4 of our trip but then we spend the next 2-3 days there. Of course we may sneak it in at night one night before.

We always end with MK and it almost didn't work out that way this trip so I had to reorganize everything because I need to end my trip with the People Mover and Haunted Mansion!

We aren't starting with MK this trip though which makes me a little sad, but with all the MVC Parties it really limits the MK days unless you have PH tickets (which we don't this trip).

Excited to get our ME vouchers in the next day or two and Mickey Mail soon after!

Just wondering, at what point should I start to worry about not have my resort stuff. We aren't using ME because we are driving but the trip has been PIF for almost a month and we only have 28 days till check in. Should I be concerned yet?

The funniest thing just happened at work. My boss had ordered calendars to give out to church members (I'm the office manager for the church). It's a running joke between us because I think they are so cheesy and every year he orders a ton of them to give away. So apparently the company sent him a sample of a Disney Mickey & Friends 2011 Calendar with our church name printed on it. He brought it out to me and I got all excited--I thought the company had misprinted all the calendars and sent us Disney ones instead of what we ordered.

So I get to keep the Disney one with the church name printed on it.

I am planning to order the Christmas family treats bag from Disney florists, and planning to place the order this weekend, to have at Pop when we check in on 12/11. Since we don't have the ddp that day, we are planning to eat OOP for supper, either the Pop food court or go down to DTD after the kids enjoy their swim, of course, but I thought that would be a nice way to welcome them and us to WDW, plus that tote bag is so cute.

we loved it- we stayed last December for 10 days. it was wonderful at the holidays! any news on the ticket situation? I hope disney works it out for you guys!

Hi all!

5 weeks today!!!

I've updated the first post of 'part 2' thread.. with the resorts list (Exwdwcm ), Dolewhip meet thread & the new MVMCP meet up, December 14th! Lenora (poppygirl) has started this thread.. there are at least 11 of us going to be there that night.. I'll keep my eyes out for the LGMHs!

It is DF's birthday today, and he got a 'proper' DSLR camera.. I'm sooo excited to take it on our upcoming trip.. better learn all about the lenses, shutter speeds etc before then!
