43 days left and counting. Like someone said, it feels great being able to say that we're going to Disney next month.

Being a busy Oct., the wait kind of dragged out and the trip wasn't on my mind a whole lot. Now, with only 43 days left it seems like its almost to short of a wait time. Even though I have everything planned out and ADR's made, it feels like nothing is done. I know that time will absolutely fly by after Thanksgiving, so i'm trying to get in that mind set now.

I'm so glad someone else feels the same way I do! The wait is killing me, but I don't feel like there is anything I can do now(I'll kill myself the two weeks before the trip though!:rotfl2:) I'm just glad I'm not alone!

I'm going to be there December 1st - 13th! We are staying at Pop Century. My fams favorite place to stay while there. Gonna have a tree and lights to put around the windows since we are going to be there so long.

BTW any word yet on who the celebs are at the Disney Parks Parade Taping?

32 days

I have a cold/sinus infection now that I am hoping to get rid of with antibiotics and hoping I will be healthy for our trip. I am so excited and cannot wait to go; this is our 1st Holiday Experience at Disney.

We are staying at ASMo any idea on things I should bring to decorate the window?

39 days to go! We have been plagued by the bronchitis infection that has been going around, now my 10 year old has it. In my case it went to pneumonia really fast (I have asthma and had surgery so my lungs were weakened from anasthesia according to the dr). I just finished my antibiotics and my 10 year old is now 3 days into antibiotics. Hopefully we will both get healthy here, I have been coughing for 5 weeks now, so am VERY ready for it to be over!

:dance3:40 days :dance3: I added another ADR :

12/13 Trail's End 6PM

I'm not sure how I feel about this one, so it may or may not stay.

Also, in looking at the ADR list, I cancelled 12/12 Chef Mickey's a few weeks ago.

Yay!!:cheer2::cheer2:28 DAYS till we're at Bay Lake Tower, can't wait!! We have our ADR's & our tickets for MVMCP & the candlelight processional. I'm so looking forward to this trip. :santa::yay:

i am fighting a sinus infection now too. hoping to kick it soon. Last year, on our trip in Dec (10-20th), my cousin got sick midway through and chose to stay in the room a lot. I got it the last few days and could barely taste my food at Le Cellier or Ohana. i hated that! trying to stay well this time! lots of airborne, vitamin C, hand washing etc. Sure doesn't help to have a 2yo in day care spreading germs to me!

woo hoo- we are BLT bound as well- what days are you there? We are there the 4-11th - one bedroom lakeview. i just put in a room request to member services yesterday for even numbered, north facing- hoping for a fireworks view!

Down to 27 days (16 days of work)!
When I went to Walmart on Saturday I found cute little 2' pre-lit Christmas trees for $8. They had all sorts of colors for the trees with ornaments and tree skirts to match. I really liked the red metallic one but went with standard green and got a white skirt with little glittery dots on it and I will buy little Disney ornaments when we arrive.
The tree is small enough to just fit in my suitcase and I will set it up when we arrive since our arrival night is open. I just think it will be nice to have that little bit of Christmas cheer in the room even though we will be there in early December and I just couldn't rationalize paying for one of the Disney florist trees.
Disney tree = $170 to $370
Walmart tree = About $30

I cant believe we will be there next month! I am getting sooo excited!! I have so much to do. I need to start buying some things for our window at POP. This will be our first time decorating our window. Cant wait!:cool1:

congrats on 20 years!! Dh and i celebrated 9 years of marriage in May, but have been together since 1993- so 17 years! good to hear of people being together so long! :lovestruc

Thanks! Technically, we've been together 22 years but married 20. Beside my parents being married 54 years this coming March, I've been married the longest in my family, longer than 2 of my sisters 3 marriages put together!:thumbsup2

Congrats on 17 years, even without "the paper"!

Same here once I am off all of this medicine I will be taking Emergen-C around the clock. I refuse to be sick this trip:snooty: We are only there for 6 days and I want to spend every minute soaking up the holiday cheer.

I also started Christmas shopping today and came upon the cutest 8 inch Christmas tree that has LED lights on it and is battery operated I think that will be a must have for our room.
