woo hoo- so close to disney now! ordered my MVMCP tickets from member services today and also confirmed my ADRs too- they are all there. Tink_Nick Koda_miles- i still have your LC ADR too and it is still confirmed.

had a good halloween. Fighting a cold. which reminds me to start taking extra vitamin C so we stay well before the trip and on the trip.

i shipped a goodie package to my niece who is coming and my MIL. i can't wait for them to get it.

So counting this week, only 5 more weeks!! and only 22 more work days! I'm off the 25th and 26th for the Thanksgiving holiday! i wish i could take off more time, but gotta save it for next October's trip. and also might be going to the Disney Social Media Moms event in March- just waiting on those package details!

oh and GREAT NEWS- i won 2 free american airlines vouchers through work during our united way campaign! yeah for free flights for next year hopefully, barring any blackout dates.

Yesterday was our 20th wedding anniversary We had a wonderful weekend with absolutely perfect weather! My sister called me last night and asked me what my DH got me for this special occasion. I told her that he got me this wonderful card, he helped me clean the house (which is a true gift in itself) and he spent quality time with me on the farm. I certainly wasn't going to tell her that he is taking me to WDW in December!!! The family will find out when we get back!

Soooo.. I called DVC today and had to take a day off of our reservation..after that.. they said since the new upgrade with the system.. you can not pay for the dining plan when you arrive in Disney anymore. So I had to pay in full today... $1600... caught me off guard slightly. Seeing as I don't have a credit card.. had to hang up and call my cousin.. get her info.. to call DVC back to pay the bill. Just thought I would let you know.

YAY! Ordered my groceries today . I already started packing - well, when I switched our summer clothes to winter, I put some shorts and short sleave shirts in a suitcase instead of packing them away. Other than finish packing (which I want to wait to see the 10 day forcast first), all I have left to do is pre-order my photopass and wait for my ME vouchers . In a week, I can book my October 2011 trip! Yikes, I hope I'm not forgetting anything! Now the nightmares will start to haunt me, I've already forgotten my APs, Lanyards, missed my flight, and missed my Sat night ADR's! Wonder what else I'll dream up.

And yes, I'm just posting this all so I can see my ticker... Hope it's not missing again.

The paying for the DDP change happened with the latest software upgrades (in September/October). If you added DDP before the upgrades, you pay when you get there (like us). If you add it now, you pay for it now.

I started this thread about swapping FastPasses for Soarin' & TSM for 2 of the mornings that we will be there. I think most people think it's too much trouble but I dread being in lines for hours. If no one signs up, we'll just plan to ride each one once at rope drop and move along. If you'll be at Epcot or DHS on December 21-22, please check it out!

That is what they told me until I called.. And then I had to pay for it on the spot or they would have to take it off our reservation until we could pay for it. So I just put it on a credit card. Which was not our plan but oh well. I guess I would call but I dunno.

On a side note... my cousin bought our park hoppers and not realizing she bought all of them as "florida resident" passes so ummm we are SOL. Because she is the only one from Florida. So I have no clue what were going to do... that is like $1500+ !!!

That sucks so if I call to add a roon request and to cancel our waitlist they are going to ask for dining plan payment? I need to cancel that waitlist this week but we plan on using our Disney CC rewards to pay for the bulk of the dining plan, we earned over $500 for this trip , and I am not going to redeem them for another 2 weeks but by then we will be at 30 days and if the waitlist comes through and I cancel it I can have a points in holding issue. Oh well I guess I can just take it off.

I know I was actually going to split the trip and do half deluxe and half regular dining plan but it seems as though the way that works has changed. I swear they are out to drive me insane!!

Eeek! Do they ask for ID when you try to use them on the 1st day? I would guess not on the other days since they will have your finger scan. I would have to forget my driver's license that 1st day and see what happens. I hope you can still use them, that's a lot of $ to waste!

congrats on 20 years!! Dh and i celebrated 9 years of marriage in May, but have been together since 1993- so 17 years! good to hear of people being together so long!

OUCH- where did she buy them from? I would have her call disney, explain the problem (or even go up to the guest services window on site and talk to them in person when you arrive). Surely disney would help you do something given it was a mistake and you can't really use them and aren't even eligible. i would think that when buying FL resident passes you would have to show ID for each one to prove you are FL resident because isn't it cheaper?

gosh i hope not. i would just call and cancel your waitlist. if they ask you to pay for dining plan, can't you just cancel it (dining plan) and then add it again last minute and pay for it then?
