**Official December 2010 Thread!!** - PART 2!

Looks like I need surgery on my foot. BUT - the good news is that it can wait until AFTER our trip!!! :woohoo:
so sorry, but glad it is AFTER the trip. just take it easy on the trip!

Couldn't wait to get up this morning and declare....30 DAYS!!!!:cheer2:
Gotta dance :banana::banana::banana:party::dancer::dancer:party::banana::banana::banana:

Feel free to join in!

Also, ran over to Walgreens yesterday to check out the Mickey headbands as a PP pictured. None at my store, but they had an awesome light-up Mickey head outline wearing a santa hat for the window. You know, the flat kind with Christmas lights along the exterior - about 15"x15", comes with a suction cup only $6.99 and perfect for packing in the suitcase. Walmart has cute gel window clings in their Christmas area $1-$3. I picked up the Merry Christmas and ta-da my resort window is done!
sorry they didn't have them! but cool on the light up mickey head outline for the window- so fun!

38 days!! HOLY COW!!! I can not believe that. I decided that I am not going to order a gift basket. It would kill me to pay the delivery fee and full price on the merchandise when we have the lovely AP discount. I would love to surprise the kids with the lanyards and Mickey ears when we got there but I just can't do it. But I am ordering a cake. DH did not gripe at that at all so I get to call and order then soon.

I feel like I still have so much to do. I am trying to sneak a weekend away with just DH and I in there too. We normally go away for the weekend for DH's bday but the kids football teams are doing so well that they have a VERY good chance of making the championship game which would be the weekend we go away. So he thinks we are not going. But I am going to move it back a week.

UGHHHH am I the only one who always spreads themselves too thin? I still have Hannukah and Christmas with my family, my nieces first bday, school projects, baking, crafts, and packing to do.

32 days for us too! I am SO excited, I am working, but barely. Luckily my desk is pretty slow right now, so I can DIS and plan and be mentally on vacation already.

At this time next month I will be checking in to CSR!:banana::banana: My vacation will have started the day before though, since I am taking the redeye from the west coast ;) I love how I can shave an extra day off my countdown like that :cool1: I'm hoping for Casitas, may send a room request, may just chance it. We'll be heading to EPCOT on our first night and having dinner at 9 Dragons for our first time at 6 pm.:yay: Anyone else in EPCOT on 12/9? Not sure how late we'll stay in the park on this night since we will be tired from the lack of sleep. Hopefully we'll be charged full of Disney Adrenaline :lmao:

Those of you in WDW on 12/9, what are your plans for this day next month?

I can't believe that today is my 30 day mark, and I'm feeling SAD?!?!?!?!? I'm just having flashbacks of this past June... I got sick 2 months before our trip. I had my 8th hernia. At that time the surgeon gave me the okay to go on our trip and have the surgery when I got back. WELL, after much planning, the day finally arrived, we were packing for our early morning flight, the kids had already gone to bed, and my hernia strangulated. We had to cancel the trip at the last minute for me to have emergency surgery.

So, as a make-up to the kids (and ME ;)), we planned this trip. Now, yesterday I get the news that my achilles tendon is 50% GONE and I need foot surgery. Once again the surgeon says I can wait until after the trip, but I can't help but worry. I'm so afraid I'm going to ruin another trip. :guilty:

AND - I'm having a little pity party, too! :upsidedow I can't believe that I need another surgery!!! This makes 10 in 10 years. I told my friend at the ER I wanted a fastpass!!! ;)

25 days

Our Mickey mail arrived today :woohoo::dance3::cheer2::yay:

I started packing yesterday just the basics grabbing stuff and placing it all in 1 case then I will sort it out next week. I cannot believe how close we are.

I am also starting a new job next week so it's a whole bunch of crazy in this house right now.

 To you TruBlu, you have to be so frustrated and worried about things. Please take things easy until the trip. I can't remember, are you renting an ECV? I really hope so.

I need to start getting things out and packed but our house is on the market.

On the 9th next month we will be having breakfast at OHana and then getting in our last few rides and flying home ;(

31 days! 1 month from now I'll be packing and getting everything ready to leave the next morning!

 To you TruBlu, you have to be so frustrated and worried about things. Please take things easy until the trip. I can't remember, are you renting an ECV? I really hope so.
Right now I'm not planning to rent one. I am hoping I can make it without one. :thumbsup2 The doc said I could try, but I just might have to "swallow my pride and get one". (His words ;)) I'm going to take a HUGE bottle of Advil and hope for the best. :) The good thing is that walking makes it feel better. I guess it stretches the tendon. I'm just not sure how the amount of walking that Disney requires will make it feel. Well see... :upsidedow

Do you guys remember way back a few months ago when I moved our trip so we wouldn't have to give up our tickets to see Ira David Wood III's "A Christmas Carol"? I just heard on the news this week that he needs heart surgery and will not be doing the show. He's done it for 35 years, we buy tickets, and he gets sick. I feel like I cursed him. :guilty: I sure hope he is going to be okay. :guilty:

TruBlue... :grouphug: That stinks hopefully you will feel better soon.

I just saw the pics from MVMCP:santa:

Only 31 days left for us:scared1:
