Yes, there is a REASON why the Paralympics are a totally different and separate COMPETITION than the regular Olympics. And why Paralympic athletes compete against other paralympic athletes. They canNOT be judged fairly by the same standards and shouldn't be in the same competition at rhe regular Olympics.

I totally agree.

Amy has the ability to change up her prosthetics based on what the dance calls for. Her athletic legs for the quickstep, pointed toes for dances that require toes to be pointed. Others don't have that ability and have been judged for their feet, where that isn't happening with Amy. I understand her disability, but also agree she is NOT being judged on the same scale as the rest of the cast.

I seriously doubt whether Meryl was in the bottom two (as they so pointedly say every time they announce bottom results..."while not necessarily the bottom two...."), but rather was put there so they could "heighten" the drama with Charlie leaving.

Sad to see him go. Candace or James should have gone instead, but I still think Meryl wins.

It's not a competition, it's an entertainment show. The contestants are "competing" for a mirrored trophy. They all get paid. Because the public gets to vote, it's a popularity contest.

Btw, I don't vote. I watch for fun. I don't care who wins, but I would like to see the better dancers stay. I like Candice fine, but of the 5, she was the worst.

Unfortunately, Carrie Ann blew it a few weeks ago when she said 'when you win...' an corrected to 'if' makes me truly believe that Amy will stay and they will win.

If an hour of this show didn't make the hour on the treadmill go as fast as it does, I wouldn't be watching anymore.

I'm kind of hoping that Charlie and Danica/Val votes go to Meryl. The "problem" is that Derek can do no wrong. I do think he is the best choreographer out there, but Meryl is the best and her chemistry with Maks is worth the win IMO.

Amy is awesome. I just can't figure out why anyone (general public) is knocking her. She's way better than Candice.

....."awesome"....really? I guess that I cannot slide my b*tt all over a table as well as she can....and THEN have the guts to call it dancing...while I do agree that she is better than Candice....and even better mebbe than James, no WAY was she consistently better than Charlie....I do give her lots of credit for accomplishing what she has done so far, but enough with the 'sympathy' scores already...

Doesn't the score include the general public? I highly doubt everyone is calling, tweeting & logging in for sympathy only. It's a popularity contest.
