I am thrilled for Tony and Melissa, really I am but I do have one issue with her, I would have liked to see her acknowledge her adorable daughter and husband in the audience at least once. Now there I said it, I can go back to celebrating for Tony... oh yeah and Melissa too.

Hopefully Tony gets good partners now that he's won and since Derek is gone now. I'm also hoping Tristan starts to get good partners, too. Poor guy! He is soooo attractive *Sigh*

No not during the win per se but all season every time she finished a dance and was heading towards/up the stairs to interview with Brooke, she seemed to just focus on racing up there yet most other celebs are shown looking, smiling, winking or waving at their loved ones in the audience. It just seems unusual to me.

Meh. She could have been doing it plenty off camera/during commercial breaks, or during the times they cut away to show her husband and kid. just cause you didn't see it doesn't mean it didn't happen.

I loved when Tom said "now they have one too" and Melissa was so surprised. What a great way for the season to end.

You're probably right but I really didn't notice. I felt that her family was always included because the producers kept on showing them in the audience all the time.
