I often complain that I think Derek's partners get overscored but I thought they were underscored last night. That dance was beautiful and had much more emotion than I expected from Shawn. Also, that was definitely a catch not a lift.

I also thought it was a catch. But, according to Carrie Ann, (who isn't even a ballroom dance expert ) she considers a lift when BOTH feet are off the floor. When Shawn jumped and landed in Derek's arms, both her feet were off the floor.

Len, the only ballroom dance expert, didn't say anything about it. But, Carrie Ann must have read it in a dance book somewhere, so she goes OCD on anything even close to being a lift.

I think I must have missed the best part of last nights show. I walked outof the room after the gangnam dance and heard a lot of laughing. I came back in and Bruno had Gilles towel wrapped around him. Did Bruno really pull Gilles towel off? If so I think that maybe he crossed the line. I didn't care for the dance at all. It seemed like the pros were doing most of the dancing.

Bruno asked Gilles for the towel and Gilles took it off and gave it to him!! Bruno has come close to crossing the line many times, but I wouldn't include this on that list!

Probably because it's really easy to see!! And you don't need a lot of dance expertise to see it and then comment on it!!!
But in that case, it was a catch. She jumped, he caught her. If it's a lift, then she had to have been 'lifted'...she wasn't.

I am finding that with every season that goes by, I agree more and more with Len. Bruno is really putting me off lately. And Carrie Ann is just obnoxious.

Yes, they're doing a little solo tonight. For some reason, Gilles didn't wow me tonight.

Wow, Melissa's dance was beautiful! I really really enjoyed it. Her solo was fluid and graceful. Awesome and my fav dance so far tonight.

Loved Melissa, Shawn not so much. I thought Shawn had the worst solo so far tonight. It wasn't a 10, and very surprised that Carrie Ann isn't losing it over all the lifts.
