Official Dancing with the Stars - All Stars

Darn! Brand new DVR freezes on me right after Bruno grabbed Gilles' chest and I missed Bristol getting the boot. At least I didn't have to chew on my nails while Apolo was in jeopardy :faint:.

That's the second time the DVR has done that this week. Gotta call Dish and find out what's up with it.

EXACTLY!!! LOL If there had been any damage or injuries then of course they would need to be reporting on that, but when I heard them on the phone with some random woman talking about how a few things in their house shook, I was screaming at our tv, too. :lmao:

What annoyed me was that the earthquake was already 30 minutes old by the time they broke in. Where were they back at 7:15pm when it happened? ;) They would have had 45 minutes to tell me about Sharon's mixing bowl.

I read about it here on the DIS before it showed up on the news. I think they (the news station) quickly realized that there really wasn't a big story here, and they knew people wanted to see DWTS, so fortunately they only spent 9 minutes on it. :hourglass

Check your show's end time. You might have to add on a couple extra minutes to the end of the show. Tom had mentioned that they were running late as Gilles was choosing teams. The show ended with NO commercials, (that I recall.) Just went straight into the debate. So they had cut it really close. You DVR's end time night not have taken in that over-run, if there was one tonight.

Nobody danced again. I was hoping Gilles would since I missed it last night. Will have to catch it on the iPad.

Susan Boyle looks so nervous. She reached out for Donny's hand. :( She's also singing way too fast. She also sounded a half note off key. :(
Okay, that is already an incredibly cheesy song that has previously been butchered by The Hoff, but amazingly Susan and Donny made it even WORSE if you can believe it. That was just awful.

But at least Bristol is gone.

I really would have liked to see Bristol dance at least another week or two, but unfortunately at this point in the season not enough viewers shared my preference. I was glad to have been able to watch her for the few weeks she survived though, and now offer best wishes to the remaining participants. I hope they all stay injury free and have fun as they learn and perform their various dances.:)

YAY!
I can reset my DVR again!

I saw Donny and Susan on either Entertainment Tonight or the Insider last night.
She was so nervous she kept her head down and would look at the camera or Donny or the host. Really weird, she's been in the spotlight since 2009 and still is a wreck.

My faith has been restored on DWTS! Hallelujah!:rotfl: Bristol doesn't even look that disappointed. Mark looks pissed though. And for once, the botttom two were truly the bottom two who deserved to be there.

I haven't watched on Monday nights the last two weeks, but I have been checking in on Tuesdays to see who is voted off. With this vote off, DH and I will have to come to an agreement on the family room TV, so I can fit watching this and getting DD from dance all in.

I can't get over how unprofessional Mark looked standing there waiting for the results. Talk about bad sportsmanship. My hand was twitching, wanting to slap that look off his face. That one ranks right up there with Karinas reaction to losing with Mario.

I am trying to remember if the teams have ever gotten the same music in the team dance. I would love to see what each of them would come up with for Gangnam Style. Honestly, I think that song would have been right up Dericks alley.

I'm sorry, I know some people like Bristol but I don't know how she even fits through the door with that giant chip on her shoulder. :rolleyes2

It should be a really good show to watch from now on. I will be sad to see the dancers and stars eliminated each week.

I saw Mark and Bristol on Jimmy Kimmel. Jimmy said most people aren't happy to see him, Mark said "I'm happy so see you". So maybe Mark was ready to be done trying to teach Bristol, especially since she really didn't want to even try this week to learn anything new.

Bristol has no personality at all. She talks in that monotone voice. Jimmy did ask her if she wanted to do the Bachelorette, she looked at him like he had two heads and said that just wasn't her thing.

Have to agree with others about Susan Boyle. Donny looked so good last night and he was trying to help her. I can't believe after all this time that Susan is still terrified. Of course if she sings that badly at her concerts she may just realize that her career has already peeked.

::yes:: I have a feeling they didn't get a chance to rehearse in the venue ahead of time. Donny can pull it off. Plus, he's been on that actual stage dancing. But, Susan did look scared to death. :(

Poor woman. My take on it was she started off off-key and knew it, but couldn't seem to right herself. She had this deer in the headlights look to her as soon as she started singing.

She's used to being in front of crowds, right? So I'm thinking it had to do with her being off-key and becoming frightened by that bc she clearly didn't know what to do.

Plus, she has a super duper fan crush on Donny, so I'm sure she is still nervous being around him and singing with him.

RE: Susan Boyle. Anxiety and stage fright don't just go away. In fact, the singer Meatloaf suffers from paralyzing anxiety during live television performances and he's been around way longer than Susan Boyle.

As to the show, I couldn't be happier that Bristol is gone.
