Exactly what I said, it is D23's Quarterly case for their magazines. It was offered during Magic & Merriment and I decided to buy one. It is big enough to fit just the 4 magazine and it is dated with "Vol 1 2009" on the bottom.

Thank you for clearing this up! Since I was not able to attend the Magic & Merriment event I would not have any idea of what exactly you were showing us!

I'm imagine D23 would make it available for everyone? I can't seem to see them just making it exclusive for those attending Magic & Merriment. I haven't checked out the D23 store lately. Maybe it's there? It really is very nice! I believe it was $42 plus shipping.

I renewed the first day that it was available and after a month of waiting I contacted guest services at Disney Shopping. Soon afterward I received my calendar and new card, but still no spring magazine and my credit card has yet to be charged. For those with no card or calendar yet, it's worth an email to Disney to check on the status of your order. Sounds like they have had some issues.

Here's the response I received from the Disney Store after asking where my spring issue of D23 magazine was - told them I had already received my membership card and calendar. Their response certainly clears up the issue for me!

Dear D23 Guest,

Thank you for your email and the opportunity to bring more magic to your
DisneyStore.com experience!

Your Renewal Membership Card will arrive within 7-10 business days after
the end of the month. Your special D23 Calendar will be received after
that. The rest of your Renewal Membership Packet, including the D23 2010
Spring Issue, will arrive within 3-4 weeks after the end of the month in
which your order was placed.

I'm still waiting to receive my calendar. (Don't really need it - I use pocket planners and already have one for 2010 - but accounts of this calendar make me anxious for its arrival.) Any day now, I hope.
