I joined around 3/13..I've gotten the certificate, membership card, magazine and litho so far. I had ordered the MM tee which I haven't gotten yet. I went back and got the d23 Jiminy Cricket tee also..did you guys see the d23 messenger bags(small)? Perfect for the parks! I went to order one, but it said "not available" I took that to mean they were sold out. Hopefully, they'll have more soon.

I also ordered a gift membership for my sister...shhh, it's a surprise!

I am so happy i thought since I quit my job to follow my heart, there would be no way I could joinn till atleast 2010, what I great surprise. My card cam last night which was the day of my LAST TEST!!!

I purchased with a gift card, so technically I didn't pay for it, otherwise I wouldn't have done it. I figured try it out for a year and see what it's all about. I wont be able to go to the EXPO in CA though

Where did you find the D23 messanger bags? I never saw them before and when you mentioned I wanted to check it out (because I was going to buy one off of their site for our upcoming trip and would love a D23 one)...but I didn't see it anywhere. Thanks .

My litho arrived today damaged . Do you think they will replace it?

My replacement came today. This time it was packaged much better. Had plastic caps on the end. My first one was all open and so it got ruined. I haven't been home to see it yet but I'm assuming this one should be perfect!

I'm still waiting for my membership card and everything else to arrive. I am beginning to think it is all lost in the post - only presumably they sent things separately to counteract that.

I think I shall wait until Monday and if I haven't received anything by then to contact them.

I'm still having trouble justifying the cost, especially since it is twice as much for a h&w. What are you going to get that is not available for free on the Internet other then special merchandise? And we have about as much of that stuff as we can stand.

Its great if it pumps up profits, my retirement account appreciates that. But I'm unconvinced what the consumer is getting. Maybe I'm missing something?

My lithograph also has a couple of "blemishes" one of which is a small crimp on one side that will probably be visible even if framed. I like the lithograph but was disappointed that it has these minor defects. It's weird that it had these issues as mine also came in a very sturdy tube so they had to be there before they were put in the tube.

Mine is a little dented, too- it looks like the tube got bashed.

I got my membership card today!! I went out to check the mail as my husband was letting the dog back into the house right before we picked our DS's up from school. When I saw that my membership card was in the mailbox, I screamed so loud that my DH heard me in the house and came running out. He almost tripped running out the door he was going so fast b/c he thought something was wrong. I was in all kinds of trouble with him when he found out it was "all over a stupid little credit card thing with Mickey Mouse on it". (His words, not mine.) While he drove to pick up the DS's, I read out loud was was written inside and I actually kept getting choked up. I was thinking about putting it in front of my drivers license, b/c I hate the picture on my license.

Its all about preference..If you cannot justify the $75, then its not for you....For me, it was easy...We love Disney....We are into pins and things like that, and there are special member only pins....The membership card and certificate are nice, we get the magazine delivered, and the litho is frameable and nice...I looked at it like this..

2 cups of coffee a day for a month is $90
1 out to dinner for 4 is about $80-$90
1 day ticket $75
If you smoke, 2 packs a day for a month, is about $300 I believe?

So $75 is really not that bad to join a disney club started by disney...

Did anyone get the poster before they got the magazine and the certificate? My poster has arrived but the mag/certificate still hasn't. I'm truly thinking it's lost - but Disney won't do anything until after 10 business days - it's already been over two weeks since I ordered and I'm getting impatient.
