When do the rest of us get our discounts?

I got an e-mail since I have a Disney Visa and they said they are offering the free dining program start Aug 26th thu Sept 11 (or something like that) It's supposed to be made public today.

Yes the fd offer went public today, but that didn't help me at all. I am there 8/17 - 8/21 but I haven't booked yet, still hoping for some kind of discount.

Well it didn't help me either since we are going in the beginning of Aug!

But, we are booking with the AAA room discount, so at the value it saves us almost $150 so that will pay for part of our segway thru epcot tour.

I could be wrong, but I can't remember any early-to-mid Aug. codes (other than the AAA room rate) for the past two years. I'm hoping that some pixie dust will blow our way, but as our trip gets closer I'm thinking that the AAA room rate could be the best deal we'll have.

I went mid-August last year and there was an AP rate of -$75 per night and a general public rate of -$70, this was for the deluxes.

Wow! These rates are great. I already have my trip booked for 8/21 with AAA discount at BCV but would like to get rate like this.

Those are not the nightly rates but the dollar amount off each night at a deluxe. The first time I looked at it I thought it was showing nightly rates of $75.00 and $70.00 ...then noticed the minus sign in front of them Silly me!

Talked to a CM to check again....she indicated I should check in about 4 weeks for an AP code for August. She seemed to think there would be a decent - even good - chance of getting an AP rate...so I am still hopeful!
