Official "Castle" thread! Spoilers welcomed!

I got up in time to see Stana on GMA - she was on for about 3 minutes. They did show a clip too. She had a great answer to a good question, too.

and I may have seen a picture from the wedding. Looks very pretty, and it doesn't look like the precinct. While I love the symbolism, to me there isn't too much joy there. It looks like it is outside somewhere, maybe the rooftop restaurant where they met.

And she was on about 3 minutes on the View too. So she flew all the way across the country, got up early, get dressed (she wore 2 different outfits, too) for about 10 minutes of screen time. Oh well, better than nothing.

And she tweeted a great picture of herself with Ruben Santiago-Hudson, who played Roy Montgomery. Seems that he came by to see her.

The wedding was much different than I expected. But I liked it. In fact, I think it was the only part of this episode that I did like.

I have a feeling (from the little I've seen) that the wedding does take place outdoors. Maybe the rooftop, maybe they decided to go back to the Hamptons (hopefully they went together). I also suspect it will only be the very end of the episode, so not more than 10 minutes long. But they are getting married, so that's what counts!

So tell me: the Hamptons? a pretty dress? I know he didn't wear a tux.

Yep. In the Hamptons, overlooking the water and a postcard sunset. He had on a casual suit and an open neck shirt. She wore a lacy top with palazzo pants and a simple bouquet. Her Dad gave her away. His Mom and daughter stood up with him. No other guests were there.

I loved the last few minutes. The vows were great. I think I need to watch the entire episode again.

I loved the episode. the only negative for me was that the rest of the gang wasn't there. But that wedding was so great and the vows were perfect.

Kate's vows:

The moment that I met you, my life became extraordinary. You taught me to be my best self, to look forward to tomorrow’s adventures. And when I was vulnerable, you were strong. I love you Richard Castle and I want to live my life in the warmth of your smile and the strength of your embrace. I promise you that I will love you, be your friend, and your partner in crime and in life. Always.

Rick's:

The moment we met, my life became extraordinary. You taught me more about myself than I knew there was to learn. You are the joy in my heart. You’re the last person I want to see every night when I close my eyes. I love you Katherine Beckett. And the mystery of you is the one I want to spend the rest of my life exploring. I promise to love you, to be your friend and your partner in crime and in life. Till death do us part, for the time of our lives.

And I just found out that "The time of our lives" comes from Andrew Marlowe and Terri Miller's wedding ceremony. They used it because they thought it was so much better than "till death do us part." I loved it before, now I really love it.

Another thing that bothered me: was Jim Beckett drinking champagne in that scene? I know there was only 1 bottle in the ice bucket. If he did drink from that bottle, I guess it was something non-alcoholic.

Lovely service, horrible backdrop. Maybe it was my laptop, but the colors -- it seemed completely computer-generated.

It was a matte painting green screened in (not CGI). They probably didn't want to shoot outdoors so they 1. didn't give it away too soon and 2. save a little money. The whole ceremony wasn't anymore than 10 minutes of air time and I'm sure a location shoot takes a lot of money. And I have a feeling they went over-the-top with it on purpose. To make it a picture perfect day. And to be honest, it didn't bother me at all. I was too busy looking at their faces.
