My thoughts on "Meme is Murder"
A case centric episode, and the case was interesting. And again, a really good episode, but not one I'm going out of my to re-watch.
Loved:
The commercial. While I doubt that any real life publisher would allow that to hit the street (or the internet), it still made me laugh. I loved how Rick thought he did such a great job & then it turned out he really was a goober.
Loved how Martha & Kate ran into the room to watch. Then I loved how Martha laughed out loud & that Kate looked like she wanted to, but didn't want to hurt his feelings. Then she did make sure to watch it again.
Loved Gates telling Kate she was keeping her on the case but she should "go home, clear your head, come back & take his (whatever) down."
loved Castle comforting Beckett after that. She didn't hug him back, she just stood there & took it - that was kinda cute.
Ryan talking about "The Ryan Report", which is a real thing, by the way.
The German recipe blogger had 47 followers.
Kate interrogating the bad guy, and Castle's total faith in her.
the promos for the next 2 episodes!
liked:
that we didn't see the bad guy until later, and that once they identified him, the suspect didn't change.
that the cyber cop who had the breakdown got to help them solve the case.
Martha helping Castle warm up for the commercial shoot. (made me think of the episode when Alexis & Martha are doing voice exercises before Alexis's tryout for Grease)
Castle working out the clues for the spoiled brats
Kate calling out Espo for liking some women who overshared pictures
Kate's comments on the internet
"Castle 2.0" and "Castle in the Cloud"
Like I said, an interesting case & an okay episode. Now I'm just counting down the hours until 10:01 PM on November 10......
