Well, since Castle isn't a science fiction/supernatural show, there are really only a few options: a dream, he hits his head or it's his imagination.

And the wedding isn't going to be splashy or big or long. I won't be surprised if it's the last 5 minutes of the show itself. We do know her dad will be there. Some people are guessing it will take place at the precinct, but I hope it'll be someone pretty - the loft would be fine with me. For a while, I thought it could be at the swings but I haven't heard anything about them shooting scenes outside. And I hope they're dressed up - I'm sure Kate won't be wearing a wedding dress but I do hope she's wearing something nice.

And no matter what the wedding is, I can guarantee some of the Castle fandom will hate it. Heck, some of them hate it already!

Did anyone see today's report that both Nathan and Stana are looking to negotiate $1 million per episode for season 8 which is believed to be the last season?? After seeing the way last year ended and this season began I think it is a stretch to ask for that much, seems like the show has kinda jumped the shark. JMHO

Yes I did. And it's a bogus report. the source was the National Enquirer.

I'm sure they'd both like to get a million dollars an episode, but when you consider that Mark Harmon of NCIS gets about $550,000, they would know they wouldn't get that. I believe that I read that Nathan got $100,000 per episode a few years ago, so maybe he's getting $175,000 now. A million dollars would be a $885,000 raise, which would never happen.

And whatever your opinion is of the show itself, the two of them don't write or direct it. They are the actors, and in my opinion, the two of them are fantastic. They deserve raises, and will probably get them. And they will probably be back next year and maybe even a few years after that.

Again, the actors don't care if the storylines work or not. They just have to act the words on the page and do the best they can. And Stana and Nathan are doing great. And honestly, actors (and athletes) have to have big egos to survive in their businesses. They have to believe they are worth a lot of money. Castle is doing okay ratings wise, so if the two of them want to continue doing the show, I have a feeling ABC will give them both nice raises.
