Does anyone know if I can get a cake at the Garden Grill?
Thanks!
Thanks!
So, I'm trying again tomorrow with the fax, if that fails anyone have any other bright ideas?? I'm only after a Mickey Head cake! nothing too elaborate.
I was trying for POFQ as we'll be in MK/Tony's for Dinner on his actual birthday and I really don;t want to be carrying leftover cake around with us. So, anyone any ideas - pleaseCan I order direct with BW bakery and ask them to deliver to hotel? Would they charge me for this?
that was a 10 in cake, way too big for us but oh well!!!
here is my goofy cake for my Dad's 60th birthday at the California Grill. 10 in. with white cake and white buttercream frosting. It had strawberry cream in between the layers and was amazing.

cakeman, did you work on this cake? If so, then many thanks for a great job!
can you order a Mickey head cake to pick up at the bakery in the Magic Kingdom?![]()
I want to celebrate DD's 9th birthday. We are dining at Whispering canyon on our last night, where is the best place to order a cake, do i just call the hotline?
So i try and switch ressies to 1900 park fare, so that i can get a GF cake?
Thanks, lurkyloo. I think I will try to order it from the Boardwalk Bakery and pick it up. I could walk over to Boardwalk from the EPCOT International Gateway, pick up the cake and then go back thru EPCOT to get the bus back to our resort. Does that sound doable without the cake melting?
I would probably take a cab from the BW back to your hotel to save the hassle
This whole cake thread has been very interesting to me. We are going to Disney at the end of Sept to celebrate a number of big family events --
1) Our son's adoption
2) My SIL's 30th
3) Niece's sweet 16
4) FIL's birthday
5) IL's anniversary
We are planning 3 group dinners -- Mickey's BBQ, 'Ohanas, and another to be determined. Love to surprise everyone with a grand celebration cake. First question: can we get such a cake at either of our already chosen locations (maybe 'Ohana)? Next question: if these locations don't work where could we do it and meet the eating needs of a big group who range in age from a year to 82? Finally, any suggestions about how to decorate a cake that will celebrate our family's many wonderful events?
Thanks!
