Can you please tell me the time it took for a return email? Thanks..I sent her an email the other day and didn't get anything back yet. I am patiently waiting :cool1:

She got back to me late that night. Like after 9 b/c I didn't read it untill the next morning. Mabye try again if you don't get a reply after a few days??
I too sent an email to Brian and to Jessi. I have yet to hear anything back. That was yesterday morning. I am going to send another message, if i don't hear back from them today then I will call Marie at the hotline again.

Could you share the email address, in a PM, that you sent to Jessi? i am hoping I didn't get her name wrong. I know she had a very different and hyphanated last name.

Unless you got an email back saying the address did not exist, you got Jessi's address correct.

My guess is that she responds based on when the order is for. I emailed her two days ago, and I haven't heard back from her (though Sally confirmed she received my email), but I'm not concerned. Most of the people who have posted recently are looking for cakes in the next two weeks... mine was for the last week of September. I'll give them a call back next week if I don't hear from them. I know they have lots to work on before mine.

We're headed back down in December :cloud9: and DH mentioned he'd like to get another cake this time. Last time I had a birthday cake from the GF which was wonderful. We are doing a breakfast at CRT but are going to do the glass slipper desserts there since I didn't want to drag a cake around all day.

We're staying at the Boardwalk Inn ~ does anyone know we could get a cake delivered to our room from the Boardwalk Bakery or would we need to pick it up? Figured I'd see if anyone here had an answer before calling this early

Thanks :)

Last time I heard you would have to pick it up at the Bakery.

I would call the Boardwalk in room dining and see what they can offer you. If they can get you a cake, it would come from the Boardwalk Bakery. I don't see why they couldn't. I ordered a white chocolate Mickey statue and strawberries to be delivered to my room. If not, you can call the Boardwalk Bakery and pick one up but I do believe you can order one through in-room dining.

Mine is for 12 days away...that's why I am concerned!

I am having a cake delivered to our room at the BWI this month that I have ordered from the Boardwalk Bakery. It was NO PROBLEM to do this. The only thing that might cause you to reconsider it is when it's delivered to the room, it counts as a private dining order and an automatic gratuity is added (I think 18%). For us, it was worth it not to have to carry a cake (I drop way too many things for me to try to transport the cake :lmao:).

Just call the cake hotline, go through the prompts to get to the Boardwalk Bakery and when you order the cake, tell them you would like it delivered to your room at the BWI and a date/time for delivery and you are good to go. The person I spoke with suggested calling down the morning of our delivery or the night before and confirming the time for the cake delivery with private dining via the in room phone.

HTH

Thanks :) Do you know if you have to be in the room to have it delivered or could they deliver it while we're in the parks so it will be a surprise when we come back our first night? The gratuity would be worth it to me for it to be a surprise :)

I remember seeing a zebra stripe cake but cannot seem to find any information about it.
Does it taste like a giant zebra dome?
I heard it has alcohol in the filling. . . is it strong? My kids would probably want to eat it, so I need to know if it does.

Thanks for the information!

Woo Hoo:banana::banana::banana:

Just got hold of Pat @ the GF and she was lovely. She apolgised for not getting back to me, she tried but couldn't make out my phone number or email from my message. Also she asked me straight away was I Samantha and said she was so pleased I called back.

Right this is what I ordered:

8in yellow cake with buttercream filling
have a magical trip, Ieuan and Moli written on it
Pirate/Princess theme

cost $62 aprox

Pat also gave me her email and said that I could contact her at any time.
She said the cost will be put on my dinner bill and she didn't take any credit card details

I'm so excited:banana:

I know someone said they prepaid. My mom would flip is she knew that I bought her a $60+ cake. Is this often done, or can they split the bill? My grandparents never let anyone pay for anything, and I don't want them to end up buying the cake, either.

When I ordered I asked about that. I was told I would pay the night we got the cake but they needed a credit card to guarantee. I imagine they would let you go ahead and charge the cake when you order but I didn't push it.

Thoughts on this and some help please!

I backed out on the cake for our 25th last year and have been kicking myself ever since. Stupid......

We are unexpectedly going again this year to celebrate 26 years and that BOTH of our kids are out of college! Yeah!!!!!

What I would like is that adorable little cake on the previous page with the castle instead of M&M, yellow roses since they are our fav, and then just some little pretties. Don't want/need anything large since its just us. Think I could get this done for a fair price or is it going to be nutsy?

We'll be having TS dinners at Jiko, Cali Grill, and hopefully Ohana. I'd love it for the dinner at either CG or Ohana. If I can't do the cake I'd love a "special" dessert with yellow roses at CG. Any thoughts on how/if that can be done?? Even if its just a nice dessert with yellow real or fondant roses tucked on the plate. I'm not too fussy and I just want to surprise my Bear.

Thanks
K

Anyone??? Pretty please! :) Who do I call, how do I do this, and what am I looking at money wise.

I can't wait to see that cake!!!!

Is there an email address to Disney regarding cakes? I tried one from another thread and it did not work.

Mine is for 12 days away...that's why I am concerned!

Then I would email today, then call to follow up on Tuesday after the holiday. That way, you're coming from every angle. :)
I have emailed twice a day for the past three days and no response! I was instructed by the CR cake hotline to email Jessi and to also email the Contemporary Bakery Cake email address. That address keeps coming back as a failed delivery.

Our dinner is only 6 days away! I am worried!:scared1: I can't get anyone to help me.

I can't wait to see that cake!!!!

I must say it was amazing the top was all like a fondue type candy tasted kinda like icing she didn't want to eat it she wanted to keep it but we were flying so it wasn't possible! Hopefully Ill have them to post tommorrow sometime! My scanner isn't working so I went to walmart to get CDs and the machine I picked didn't work right but the order is stored the guy is coming tommorrow and I will get my CD's free! :woohoo: So I'll wait then! :goodvibes

Woohoo! Jack Skellington cake pictures (which is what Lou would have wanted if he had a choice), and my American Idol photos! Can't wait for those CDs to come in..... :woohoo:
And you get them free, which is awesome!

Does anyone know what cake services deliver to downtown Rainforest Cafe? I made a reservation there for my dd's b-day and well of course I am having a hard time finding a cake for her. I also wanted to know if there are any local bakeries where I order and pick one up from. Thanks:)
