The nemo and tink cakes came from the Yacht Club bakery? Do they deliver to restaurants at WDW or do you have to pick them up?? What is their price for a cake?? Is there a price list or breakdown?

Those two cakes are PRECIOUS! :goodvibes

You need to call in room dining and their cakes are only for the Yacht and beach club resorts and restaurants within the resorts they do not deliver to other resorts or areas in WDW and there is no place to pick up cakes there. Prices vary by size. You can call and ask what is available and what are the prices for what you are looking for. All the cakes I have ordered from them have been delivered to my room or a restaurant within.

DD's Birthday is thanksgiving day and we just decided to book a last minute trip!:cool1: I'd love to order her a special cake from the YC or GF bakery but we already have lunch booked at CR. I was thinking of making a 2nd reservation for later that evening for coffee and dessert at one of the restaurants the bakeries deliver to. Do you think that would work?

I just ordered a 10 inch vanilla cake, bavarian cream and strawberry filling, with whipped cream frosting for my in laws 45 anniversary from the GF. They said they will put a white chocolate heart with mickey and minnie on it. it will have hearts around them. I haven't seen a picture of this here yet. does anyone have one, or know where I can see a picture of it. thanks so much!:cake:

Congrats on 45 years!:worship:

It sounds like a beautiful cake-hopefully someone will have a picture for you. If not you'll have a great one to share when you get back.

I'm thinking surprising my dh with a Mickey cake on his Birthday at LTT when we go to MK on his Birthday. :goodvibes I have a question though, do they have mickey head cakes at the mk bakery?

Also, does anyone have any pics , or can give me a page # of the cakes offered at the bakery?
Also, If they do have the one cake I want , how does one get the cake from the store to the restaurant? TIA!

Our cake was vanilla with vanilla buttercream frosting, strawberry and custard filling. It was delicious.

I'm looking to order a cake for our 10th anniversary. I've been reading through the thread and wow, there is so much to read with all of the options and such and the cake pictures are beautiful. I'm hoping someone would like to help me out. Here's what I'm looking for,
My price tops out at $50, I can drive to Sam club and buy one for $10 so this one has to be special for the extra money.
Something personalized and Disney themed(castle or mickey/minnie), but obviously for an anniversary.
We will have a car and are dinning at Narcoosee's on our anniversary. We are on the deluxe dp so we won't need anything too big.
We are staying at SSR and will have a fridge and 5 days to eat left overs. I'm not sure whether I should order it from GF and have it delivered to go at dinner or order it from SSR and have it delivered to our room.
thank for any advice

$50 is going to be tight for a custom cake. When I called the GF to order my DH and DS4's birthday cakes, the 8" is $32 and to put the castle on top is an additional $15. I'm not sure on the cost of the white choc Mickey/Minnie statues.

Another option would be the slipper dessert (under $20 I believe or mini castle cake (under $30 I believe). Please note that as far as I know, this would only be for one or two people-it certainly wouldn't feed a large party.

I'm also not familiar if that restraunt does anything for anniversaries. If you're thinking budget, I'd be sure it's noted on your ADR that you're celebrating your anniversary and see what happens. Then, do something special in your room-you can do this by calling in-room dining for your resort. Every resort offers something different so you'd need to call and see what your options are. Also, you may be able to request an anniversary card from a character (I'm doing this at ASSp but for birthdays and it's FREE).

HTH a little bit!

Does that include the Beach Club Villas, or will they only deliver to the Beach Club hotel rooms? The Villas do have room service, but I'm questioning whether they would deliver a cake to the DVC units. If so, how much advance notice is required for having a cake delivered to the room?

You call the same I believe they will deliver to DVC but I believe you have to be at the room when they come but I'm not 100% sure you could call and ask. I usually order 1 week in advance they say 48 hours but I always give it a few extra days.

Is the Zebra cake the only cake offered at Boma? Does it come with various cake type and fillings? Can it be personalized?

Trying really hard to get through the whole thread but I am not finding what I am looking for.

First any suggestions on what cake to get for a 30th birthday celebration? and should I get it at our resort (CBR) or at the restaurant we are eating at Rainforest Cafe at AK?

And do I call RC or the cake hotline? I am so confused lol.

I posted a few pages back info on the zebra cake-I can't remember all of the specifics now but I pasted my email from the IPO staff at AKL. I don't believe it can be personalized and is standard with flavors-maybe only offering one or just vanilla or chocolate. We decided to go with the Mickey head cake instead.

Not sure what to offer for a suggestion....what does the birthday person like? That would make a difference. Also, is RFC a Disney restraunt? If it is, yes you'd call the cake hotline and choose that selection. They'll let you know what they can do. This might be helpful to find out first before getting your heart set on something and them not being able to do it. You could also go to Main Street Bakery or Boardwalk Bakery and pick something up to take with you if you'd like to do it that way.

If you want something in your room, I believe you need to call in room dining to arrange that and see what can be done.

Good luck and have a fun birthday celebration!

Hello again - I love your tinkerbelle cake - you are a lucky Lady - Just a quick question - I have a tinkerbelle cake ordered for dinner at park fare - can you tell me - was your tinkerbelle edible or is that a statue of some sort? Thanks again - Whip
