YESSSSS, just booked a quick surprise trip for the kids for the end of August! 8/24 to 8/28 (though tbh I am selfishly hoping that the 8/25 party date isn't happening...that's my planned MK day and I don't want to spend any more money than I already have! Ha) for our first visit to POR!
Since MK closes at 7pm that day there seems to be some kind of event going on.
So far - dates are Aug 25 and 29! I am keeping my fingers crossed that they will have a MNSSHP on those dates. We arrive on the 22nd!
I believe in 2016 dates were announced March 23 and went on sale May 5.When do they usually announce MNSSHP dates? And do the tickets go on sale immediately upon announcement?

My husband wants to go if the August 25 rumor is true.
Now that we have a pretty good crowd here, and many are getting into their 180 day window, is there any interest in a Photopass Share for this August?
It is an arrangement between several families / parties who are are visiting Disney World around the same time frame. Each group pays in a portion of the price of the Photopass (now called Memory Maker), each family gets pictures taken during their trip, and adds them to the photopass account, and then after the last family finishes their trip, everyone gets to download the pictures. In effect, each family gets the full benefits of a memory maker upgrade, but pays maybe $25 to $30 for it instead of $150.Forgive my ignorance, what is a photopass share? And woohoo for almost reaching my 180 days!!! Pop Aug 28-9/3 girls only trip for 40th birthdays!!!

I ran one last summer, and it worked out very nicely for us, so I am looking to see if there is interest here in this group to run one again this year. It seems to work best with around 5 or 6 families. If there are enough interested, I would be happy to run the share again this year.
That's a cool idea. I would be interested. 8/28-9/3 are our dates.
I REALLY want to see Rivers Of Light, but I am hoping to be able to score a FP+ for it, as I'm not terribly interested in either of the dining locations that offer the package. Is anyone else waiting for the Rivers of Light dining package dates to open for August?? They only have dates through June right now.
If you are planning on being in epcot resort area for breakfast, you should consider the new character that is at the Italian restaurant on the boardwalk. (Just an idea)Woohoo!!! ADRs all managed! Got everything I wanted!! The only adjustment I'll probably make is converting my Tusker breakfast to a ROL package when those come online. And maybe switching 1900 Park Fare breakfast to Cape May breakfast when/if those come online.
