Would anyone be interested in posting ADRs if I start a list? I wouldn't mind keeping up with it as the month goes on so that we can see each other's plans and maybe it would lead to some DisMeets. If there is any interest, I will start the list.

I went through MDE so that I was able to book my 180 +10. I have heard that you can't book all your reservations at once if you don't go through MDE. You would have to go day by day or you can call.

I got up right at 6:00 am this morning to make mine and it was very fast and easy. There were tons of Be our Guests reservations also so hopefully that pattern will hold for the rest of the month.

Ok great! Thanks for the info. What worries me is that I have read on other threads that they won't let you make FP+ reservations within 1 hour of your ADRs if they are linked on MDE. But I think I will give it a try and see what happens!

Aw! That's so cool!

Thank you. My band director and his wife both worked at my high school, and my mom took care of their children. We were so close to them that they sat next to my parents at our wedding. My mom kept teasing them that since it was their idea to go to Disney World, and I met my husband there, they were responsible for paying for half the wedding.

Thanks to all of you for your kind thoughts. Unfortunately, the news was not favourable from the vet today. The blood tests have confirmed she is in kidney failure. Whether she has weeks or months or ??? is anyone's guess.

From here, we will just love her to pieces and give her the best end of life we can. The vet has offered some palliative measures to help alleviate any discomfort she is feeling but her age is definitely against her.

So sad today, I just want to go home and cry (I have been doing my share of that since the vet called my office). Wish I didn't have to be at work until 4.

I don't have a pet that is technically mine, but I love my mom and dad's and sister and brother in law's fur-babies like they are my own. When my family has a get together, there are more pictures taken of the fur-babies, than the only human grandchildren.

These are our fur babies....Lao Che is our almost 2 year old tuxedo boy and Nala is our almost 1 year old Calico girl. (She was actually born with only 1 kidney )

Thanks, MouseMommy1! No apologies needed, this thread is a lot to keep track of!

I'm not sure the answer about the ADRs. I thought you could call when you were 180 days out from check-in, and then could make reservations for up to 10 days from check-in date (counting that as Day 1). BUT, my 180 day was earlier this week and when I logged in to make ADRs, it kept giving me an error that the system could not do a search at this time and to try again later. I tried a few times over the span of about 30 minutes and decided to just call. The rep sounded like she thought I should have been able to do it online, and then she made them all for me on the phone. I'm not sure why I couldn't do it. I like to do my own because I'm a control freak, but really she was very pleasant and efficient on the phone (though she did lose them all at one point! But then she redid it with no problem).

If anyone has the TiW card and interested in the Hoop Dee Doo Review, they will take the discount at time of payment. I've never booked this before, but had read that you would have to pay in full upfront, and then when you got there you would show your TiW card and they would refund the 20%. BUT, when I mentioned that to the dining rep, she said there was a code there and compared that rate to the regular rate, and confirmed it was a 20% discount. So that's good - I prefer not to lend Disney my money for the next 6 months! They get enough of it as it is, lol!

Also, in case anyone didn't realize this (I didn't), you can now book the Wishes Dessert Party at 180 days! No more stalking the site waiting for it to "open". BUT, now that it is bookable at 180 days, anyone who doesn't realize this and waits until the 60-days out (like it used to be) might not get it. So if you are planning on booking this, don't wait! I just happened to see a post about this a week or so ago -- I guess they changed it sometime in the fall (when I wasn't very active on the Dis).

I'm a couple of days late but we have two black cats, aged five and a half, both boys named Terk and JD.

Tomorrow we pick up a pair of sisters (rescue cats), one year old. One is tortoiseshell and black, the other is tabby and white. They are currently called Poppy and Rosie but we plan to rename them Elsa and Anna

We have a female Irish Terrier who just turned 11 (name of Maggie), and an 8 year old Devon Rex cat named Pip. Their birthdays are just 2 days apart and we love them both terribly. Cat rules over the dog of course.

You can make ADRs both ways at 180 days and then you can book 180 days + 10. You have to be logged into MY Disney Experience to do 180 + 10 from the computer.

My MDE was messed up though and showed the wrong dates as our resort dates so for some of the days I had to call. Hopefully that won't happen to anyone else. They could not explain the problem, but my resort dates are right in the computer. In any case, you do still have to call to book certain ADRs by phone.

I can relate. DD pink, DS green, last year I had yellow since that is also DS favorite color and DH red. I can't remember if I reordered the same colors! I do think they should add lavender to the choices. Thought by now they'd have more options. Like add a pattern print- DD could be pink w Minnie faces or polka dots and I could be pink with Cinderella faces or slippers. Then we could both be pink!
