I had pink in december but ordered red for August. My older son got a cover for his in his stocking and my younger son got the Mickey body part widgets for his...pretty cute!

We also blinged out our magic bands this last trip, and that was fun (cast members kept commenting on them). So I imagine we'll do that from now on.

I think I must be the only Team August member without a Magic Band. I feel left out .

Probably a good thing, though....I'm one of those weird folks who can't even stand wearing a watch.

How about another QOTD What color Magic Band are you ordering for yourself?

Our Magic Bands in December were Red (mine), blue (GS) & pink (DD).. DD & I had Tinkerbelle Magic Bandits on ours.

I just customized ours for our August vacation Yellow (Mine), Green (GS) & Blue (DD) --- now if they add new colours or designs before our cut off date to customize, that all could change. Lol.

What color Magic Band are you ordering for yourself?

I already have green so I picked yellow this trip. DD wanted pink again and I don't want the same color band just so it's easy to tell ours apart, so yellow it is.

What color Magic Band are you ordering for yourself?

I am going with sunny yellow! DH is an orange guy, DS6 surprised me by choosing green over blue (I think it looked better in the picture against a blue background) and DD3 surprised the life out of me by choosing red over pink! now I'm waiting to see if she changes her mind before I "customize" because I am afraid of a meltdown which I am already prepared for when we have to switch to gray if something inevitably goes wrong Luckily, I can always buy a cover to save the day!

To piggyback on this topic...for anyone who has used them already, is there any reason I couldn't just loop the MBs around my bag strap and not have the kids deal with them at all? It's not like they'd be going off on their own for anything!

Gulp....I did it! Ordered theme park passes and linked them to MDE! It was a little odd, though! Ordered them will call so that I could link them immediately. Copied the confirmation number and pasted in the link to add passes on MDE. That part worked fine, but then when I had to attach passes to people in my family, it listed them all as my attached to my son! I had read on another thread that if anything looks wrong in MDE to use the back button and somehow it works. Did that and ended up on a page with all 4 tickets linked to my name! LOL! Then I was able to individually attach a ticket to each person in my family. After that, it appears correctly with the kids tickets attached to them and adults to DH and me but I am still a little worried as I never hit the "finalize" button since it wasn't correct. I'm sure I will be making a phone call to confirm later tonight but just wanted to pass along my experiences if it helps anyone in any way!

I'm sure you could. You just want to make sure they are easily accessible when you need to scan them for park admission or to go on rides/attractions.

My DD who was 4 at the time we tested our last magic bands didn't want to wear her band after the novelty wore off and I attached her band to my bag and it was fine. Like you said, if kids are not going off on their own, it really doesn't matter if they wear them or not.

Also, I don't see why you couldn't attach them to a bog...just be careful they don't fall off

I have no idea what colors we'll pick. I haven't even bought our tickets yet. Can't decide if I want to add PH to it. Because we're changing resorts twice, we each get 3 for a total of 12 LOL! Also, I reserved through a DVC member and gave him our full names. Now that page online just looks weird. The only time I use my full name is when I got married and when I do taxes... And when my mom was mad at me... I don't know if I should try and get that changed???
