I'm confused, I just did my FP reservations, I didn't think you could pick your own times? they gave you the options, I thought you had to pick from those?

also, is there a way to print out all your Fps without printing them day by day?

I hate the disparity between the crowd calendars. The week in question (10th) has 7s across the board on the Easywdw calendar, and ranges from 3-6 on Touring Plans. :confused3

My dates (28th) show straight 4s on Easywdw and 2-3s on TP. Not as big of a difference as for the week above.

I always had good luck with the unofficial guide but now I'm wondering, there's such a huge disparity. 3 and 4s seemed low for summer months unless kids are back in school down south. we don't start school til after Labor Day

I think you've always been able to pick your own times. You just use the ones Disney picks first, then you edit them to your liking.

You can do a print screenfor your FPs. Just print the page that has all of your ADRs and FPs on it. Or you can do what I did and just save the whole thing to evernote. I have all the menus saved to evernote as well, so we can save time when we're eating counter service.

arghhh, I took all the Disney suggested times and thought wow, this is easy. Now I have to actually make decisions, lol

do you guys use FP for nighttime things like parades and Illuminations? it ties up your 3rd FP and keeps you from getting your 4th

I've heard bad things about the MDE app, not being able to change Fps easily. but is it good for keeping track of you Fps so you know where you have to be when? It looks good for that.

I personally liked the website better to select my initial FP+ but I preferred the app on my ipad to make the modifications like changing the time of only one FP+ or to copy the selection to someone else. I think both complement each other.

so it's good for keeping track of your fast pass times each day in the park? you don't have to write them down?

I like the app and will test it for the first time August 5 but I read that the app drains the battery of you cell phone pretty quickly. I would keep a hard copy on you if you’re not planning on bringing a charger.

Yes, after you accept one of the options Disney provides, you can edit times to your liking, assuming there are FPs available. I actually went back and made some changes later today and got the Lion King time I wanted.

I haven't tried to make any reservations or changes with the MDE app but I can view them all on my phone which is pretty darn handy.

Evernote - is that an iPhone app?

made my FPs last night as well and happy to report that everything worked very well! Was able to get mostly the times I wanted. One odd exception was the Disney Jr. show at DHS! Never thought that one would be a problem but it was only available either really early or later in the day than I wanted. Will keep checking on that but otherwise was pleasantly suprised...A/E, SDMT, TSMM, Soarin...all available on multiple days. Also happy to get FOF, MSEP and Wishes locked in!

[QUOTE="Also checked in early for AoA. Requested 'close to transportation' and 'top floor' for our preferences. We are in a Cars suite. All that's left to do now is ship down some boxes with our bulky items and pack! :cool1:[/QUOTE]

Where did you do this? My DH wants a top floor room as well. My FP day is June 18. Is it in association with that??

You do this with your online check in date.

Unfortunately I had to cancel my reservation a few days ago due to a variety of reasons. With some luck I'll just push the trip back by a few months. Plus, if I can go in October I'll be able to go to MNSSHP, right? :wizard:

We're set for WL 8/20 - 8/29.

It was originally going to be just me & the kids so I had a room at BC. I was so excited to try SAB with them! But then DH decided that he could take the time off work, so we changed to WL (CL :goodvibes) and will add BB & TL to our plans instead of SAB.

Kind of sad that all the planning is done... it makes the waiting that much harder :lmao:

Yes - at your 60 day mark you can check in early online. On the page with your reservations and tickets you'll see a hyperlink for "check-in online" under your confirmation number. You can let them know what time you're arriving, set up pins for your magic bands, and select up to two preferences for your room (no guarantees, of course!).

I imagine this maybe helps the hotel allocate rooms a little further in advance? (Who knows if Magical Express and the hotels actually communicate with each other?!) So, if they know we are showing up at 11am and need two Cars suites and want top floor and near the bus stop, maybe they won't give those rooms away to someone that doesn't care? At least, that's what I hope the rationale is. :)

I'm at 59 days to go and so excited! :hourglass

Hi all! After far too long of a break from WDW (darn college for kids) we are heading back for a quick 3 day Labor Day trip!:cool1: Kid #1 accepted a new job in Orlando and we are going to visit her. We only have the weekend for the parks(and maybe an evening) as we don't want her to use up valuable vacation time~but going to attend our first ever MNSSHP on 9/1!:hmghost::maleficen
staying 1 night at ASMU then off-site to WH for the rest of the week. (first time there as well)
so I guess our dates are 8/30-9/6~3 park days,
this is a trip of "firsts", Labor Day timing, MNSSHP,MB, FP+, WH off-site, DD has FL AP (lucky , lucky girl)and shortest park days for any trip we've taken,,BRING IT ON!!!
