Question of the Day.......Is your trip paid off?

Mine is not! :scared1: I have only paid my $200 package deposit but my deadline is looming.......Plus we have to factor in gas and hotels (since we are driving). It's going to be an expensive summer! :hyper:

Oh.....and I still need to get some American money and I have not been following the dollar.....I'm sure I'll be in for a shocker when I hit the bank. :faint:

Yup! Paid ours off back in April!!!! :cool1:

Well our cruise and last Disney day at CR is paid as well as our universal stay at the start of our vacation too. I also paid our Villians unleashed tickets but only have our deposit still on our POR stay with FD that we've held since last August lol. I'll be paying it off on Tuesday next week.

Sent from my iPad using DISBoards

Our rooms, airfair and tickets were paid off months ago. Now I'm waiting to get a target debit card to use on Disney gift cards for our dining. I've been saving for months for that and am finally pulling the trigger!

AoA suite, Tickets and Dining paid off in Nov. Flight paid in Feb. still saving up spending money.

not paid off here.....I still have to pay for the 2 non-WDW vacations we're taking before our August trip. I just have to pay off room and then buy DH's ticket as I have a comp. ticket. Flights are paid for.

Late august trip paid off early!!!! Airline tickets paid!!!! Just holding off on adding free dining so I don't have to pay for that til closer to the trip. Feels good:)

Question of the Day.......Is your trip paid off?

Paid in full since September. We don't book holidays anywhere unless we can pay for it outright (we save, then we book). When I called to check something a couple of weeks later, the CM couldn't believe it. She said she's never seen it before, but it's just how we do things.

I put the airfare and deposit on a 0% interest credit card that has 18 mos to pay, I'll put the rest of the disney balance on there. I always pay the card off before the 0% interest is up. I hate having it over my head so I do it as quick as I can.

I was going to start a walking regimen and diet before our trip and have failed miserably. I'm so disappointed with myself. tomorrow's a new day

Yes, the WDW part. We don't pay for Portofino Bay until we arrive :)

We also have our spending money ready to go, then we need to purchase Memory Maker.

Finally, the Wishes cruise gets paid on the night but we have the money ready for that.

Still trying to save a little bit more so I can shop well at the Converse outlet store, lol!

Heehee! Nope! But I just booked it this week, and I've made a change to the reservation every single day. But flights are paid, and I'm close to making the full payment for the trip! :)

Our package is paid off (room and tickets). We're still working on the gas, food, souvenirs, etc. fund!

We're all paid up, and have been for a while :thumbsup2 . Accommodations (our timeshare maintenance fees) were paid just before the New Year. Discovery Cove/Seaworld/Aquatica tix were purchased in October. Airfare was purchased in November. Our TL waterpark tickets are free this year (AP's from last summer are still valid). Food is all accounted for via money in the bank (already converted to USD, no less!) as is spending/shopping cash. Cabanas reserved and paid in early spring.

The only bad thing about having everything taken care of so soon is that we tend to add on some extras along the way. Just last night, the boys were saying they'd like to do a night a CityWalk with dinner at Nascar or NBA City and mini golf at the new Hollywood Drive-In course.

Not quite paid off my hotel bills yet.

Gina, we like Citywalk. We found the food better at NBA City than Nascar. The mini golf was fun. We were rained out the one night we golfed after getting almost the whole course done, and the manager kindly gave us passes to play another round some other time. I think if you Park in the garages after 5 pm, it is only 5 dollars to park.

Oh, and I hate typing on my iPad!

Well.....we went ahead and changed our reservation from GF CL to a royal room at POR....thus saving $2500!

With a new little one on the way, we are looking at a new car, and adding a bedroom and bathroom to our house. It only made sense to cut back on the cost of our Disney trip. ::yes::

We've never stayed at POR (loved POFQ though!), but really wanted to try the royal rooms before the family is too big to stay in them.

1st trimester is kicking my butt, but I'm going on 10 weeks now so hopefully I'll start feeling better soon.

At least I have a $2500 refund to look forward too!

We have tried NBA City before (Jake is a HUGE basketball fan) and really liked it, but Nascar would be something new. We are always torn between returning to old favourites and adding another "first" to a vacation. Ugh, decisions, decisions! :scratchin

I love that parking is so affordable if you go later in the day. That tends to work best for us anyway, especially if its just dinner and CityWalk time that we're after. Have you golfed both of the courses? If so, which one did you enjoy most?

Hi :wave2: new here hope it's OK if I jump in. Will be visiting the DW mid Aug staying at AOA. Just made my FP and I'm doing the happy dance :cool1: because I was able to get a FP for A&E. The trip will be a surprise for my DD4 and DN6. DD just asked me today if we could go this summer. It was so hard not to spill the beans. Can't wait to surprise the girls.. super excited!
