I recieved and email with the subject line that said my Familys Disney Dream Come True.
It had details for value rooms for 82 a night and further down it mentioned that if my dates were flexible that I could get 20% off between certian dates.
I called and the ASM suites are not available for me right now with the discount.
We would have to take two value rooms for 65.60 each. That means we loose out on the Kitchenette! Either that or take the Cabins for over 200.00 a night w/ discount!
Oh well, I guess we could just go with the meal plan again. I figured that with two adults and three kids we would be paying about 300.00 extra for the meal plan over paying OOP.
This to me is worth it because we HAVE to do the Hoopty-Doo again and it would be almost 200.00 just for that!
Plus I don't have to pretend to like perching on the end of my bed eating cold turkey sandwiches from the styrofoam cooler in our room.
We will still eat breakfast in room because we would rather eat a Pop Tart and make the park opening! And Disney does not do Diet Pepsi so that's a grocery delivery right there.
So as soon as my taxes show up I will be booking for 8-12 to 8-21 for two value rooms for two adults and three girls.
Hoping for cheap airfare too!
I got an email. Remember, you have to be signed up for everything. I got mine from "vacation@registration.disneyworld.com". When I called the Guy said "Oh, you got a long code" It was 15 digits long. and he didn't even ask me to repeat it. They already know all about you. You need to go to the website and set you up a tentative plan. You don't have to actually buy it. Just set it up and save it. You have to register at disney to get on their list. And go ahead and make your reservations NOW. If you do a room only, you can change it anytime. Plus you can cancel with a full refund if done 6 days prior to departure. If your waiting for the free Dining plan it probably won't show up till late August or October if at all. I heard they got burned on it last year. Didn't anticipate everyone pigging out I guess. Anyway, read the the threads about the people on the Dining plans, I swear their entire vacation revolved around when they would eat and what they would eat. They must have gained 50 pounds on that vacation. Also, after you make your reservation, keep checking back to see if they tagged you with a code. Keep watching Mousesavers.com. If they post a code there you can go back and apply it to you reservation. However, you can only use one code, so choose wisely. Bye.
Glad to hear you will be getting a discount
We are going in August and already have 2 rooms at POP. A discount would be a GREAT thing. Fingers crossed and checking email/mail dailey.
