As Predicted, Barbara Accuses Gwen of Injurying Her
After accidentally pushing Barbara, Will goes into shock after realizing what he did. His mind kicks into overdrive. He realizes that Gwen will somehow be blamed for what happened. The teens leave Barbara in the room while they escape. As Jennifer and Dusty are on their way to see Barbara, she tells Dusty that shes concerned for Barbara due to her losing Paul and her on-going estrangement from Will. Dusty doesnt seem to feel much sympathy for the woman as he believes she brings her problems on herself. When they get to Barbaras room both are shocked to find her on the floor. They rush Barbara to the hospital, and afterwards Jen calls Will. Will doesnt want to go, but is reminded how suspicious it would look if he didnt. A guilty Will goes to see his mother and apologizes for hurting her, unaware that Babs can hear every word hes saying. She uses this to her advantage and when she wakes up she tells Jennifer that she remembers what happened and would like to make a statement to the police. When Will walks back into the room, he overhears Barbara telling Margo that Gwen tried to still steal from her and when she was caught, she attacked her. Will proclaims that Barbar is lying, coming clean that it was he who pushed his mother, but it was an accident. Barbara snaps back that Will is trying to cover for Gwen. Margo tells Will that he is to report to the police station and bring Gwen with him. Will tells Gwen what happened and that they need to leave now or Barbara will have them thrown in jail.

Maddie helps them by taking them to the Metro. Will is able to disable the alarm there and he and Gwen make a temporary home. She is caught by Casey while shes out getting supplies for them, but is able to cover and keep their location private. Margo overhears and questions Maddie on any information that she has about the other teens. Maddie lies (so much for her being a new person right?) and sends Margo in the opposite direction.
