My friend called while I was watching. She was like what's wrong!! I had to tell her I was crying over a TV show. It was so sad. This has been the best week. I'm glued to the TV. Wonder what all the fallout will be. This will probably be Emily's second time getting off the hook because of jen.

Ugh...today's show was the worst...Jen saying goodbye to her Dad did me in. It's a sad, sad day.

Maybe I just need to fast forward through that part.

Thankfully my son was being loud and I didn't get to pay close attention. I would have been in tears too! I just wonder why he killed himself. Was he married, did he have kids. So so sad.

Oh, another question, do any of you watch GL? I wonder if Matt Reardon is back for good or just a visit. Hes such a cutie. I wish he and Vanessa would break up and he would come back for good! He and Dinah would be a very interesting storyline.

I hope not. I hope it's just because he's Coop's brother so she cares about him. They wouldn't make a good couple.

There is a GL thread here somewhere but hardly sees any action. Do a search- maybe we could revive it.

On the ATWT MSN group someone said they heard that the scenes with Jenn in her "death bed" were very hard on him. He had been suffering from depression since the death of his mother, and the speculation is that the scenes were the breaking point.

From everything I've read, I don't believe he ever married or had any children.

As much as I love Randolph Mantooth, I hated him playing Hal. I would hate to see them write Hal off the show, but iI can't imagine themmm doing anything else.

I wonder how they will deal with his death on the show. On CBS.com, it says that the role of Hal will not be recast. I think it is only appropriate to retire that character considering he played Hal for 21 years.

I cried all through Fridays episode - it was so hard to watch. I really think they should retire the character and not recast.

My ATWT show today was cut into several times due to a tunnel collapsing in Boston and also a tornado warning so I missed most of it but I did see Mike tell Katie to wait for him by the bar and then he punched Simon. So she is officially saved.

I believe it was the end of yesterday that Mike found out about someone (the golfer) seeing Simon and he found her today.

Ok - I used to watch this show when in college -- Curious - WHERE is John Dixon? Anyone find it odd to leave Dusty all alone......

Yikes! - Whats goin on? - I have not been able to watch much since the kids have been out of school. What is Jennifer dying of? Was she still with Dusty at time of illness onset? - Did someone say Lucy is back? Is it the same actress??? I loved her - and liked her with Dusty better than Jen.

Jennifer had pneumonia but left the hospital early and a secondary infection started around her heart which led to her death. Yes, she was still with Dusty. They got married last week.

Lucy is back but it is a different one. Even though Dusty is pissed off at her right now for letting Jenn leave the hospital I figure they'll get back together eventually.

Grumpy's Gal - I have no idea where John is. He hasn't been around in a long, long time.

Who else cried like a baby today during Hal's scenes? I guess knowing they were his last really made me sad.
