That's the week we are going. Staying offsite this time around though.
Oh well it's a timeshare from my parents, so it's free for us, so I can't really complain. It's better than not going at all.

I was thinking of offsite but I just could not do it. I did that so many times now I am hooked on staying on property. Either way your at Disney and that is all that matters.

i would call and book through disney or whoever you're going to use as soon as possible - through disney it's a $200 deposit on each room - we're going in april and i don't have to pay off the balance until the end of february - i would do it now to make sure you get the rooms you want!

and, as some have already said - plan to make your dining reservations (ADRs) once you hit 180 days out - that should be sometime in october for you depending on when you're going - my magic date is october 15th!

for the birthday - make sure you get the birthday button - i know someone already mentioned this, but it is well worth the stop at the town hall on main street at the magic kingdom! we did this for my son who turned 9 just before our trip in july - he called the trip the "year of a million birthdays" - he received so many special greetings and special little treats in the five days we were there, it was amazing!

Well I booked today. 4/5 - 4/13 at POP.
According to website it is a Wonderful Weeks of Disney. Whatever that means but it sounds good.

We are offically book for March 28-April 2 at POP century! I am excited! I can make my ADR's in 10 days! This is what we are thinking:
3/28 Fri. Arrival: Free day, DTD & Animal Kingdom possibly
3/29 Sat.: MK- CRT breakfast
3/30 Sun Epcot: Le Cellier dinner
3/31 Mon MGM: Sci- Fi Drive In Lunch
4/1 Tue. MK again: Crystal Palace for breakfast
4/2 Wed.: Leaving free day until we have to take ME to the airport proubally do DTD for a bit!

we will be going april 5-11 and will stay in the all star music family suites sicne there are 6 in our party this trip { already planning trip with other daughter for sept.2009 and hoping for the free dining and we will celebrate her twin dd's 5th b'day! and baby sister will still be under 3 so free! } anyways,we are excited about making the adr's in 18 days! dsil is making them { or getting ta to do it} hope they get cinderella's royal table sicne that is dgd's choice and dgs's is liberty tree with goofy! we are in the process of buying lil thigs here and there and also dressing up some clothes for them to wear themed to each day/park.i plan to do the 'tink left you a gift' thing each night so am buying lil things here and there,which reminds me if any one is looking for small things with disney on them theyhave all sorts of things at family dollar if you have one near you. pencil/marker sets,handheld games { the type you add water to and flip th elil balls to get points} kalidiscopes,figureines etc all prices for $1 to $3 dollars!
this is gonna be fun seeing who else is going this time of year and what they are planning.i'm wondering about how to dress for the table service places...the castle is the one i am most concered about,i don't wanna dress up and be un comfortable all morning but also don't wanna be the only one in capri's and a disney shirt.....

Too Funny!!! We just told my parent's last night that we were all booked in for Disney and they looked at us like we were crazy because it is 6 months away! I'm with you----so glad we have this board to share our excitement!!!!!

I'm, new to the boards and I'm very overwhelmed! I'm so encited for our trip to WDW. We head to Florida's gulf coast On April 19, 2008 and to Disney April 27th until May 4th.

We have an off-site condo rented.(I wish we could afford to stay inside) We will eat quite a bit out of the condo... I have read several things about the dining plan and was wondering if anyone could share a link that will bring me to a thread that I can read the particulars.

Thanks to everyone for this great site... I'm keeping the trip a secret from our 2 boys and its hard not to talk about it!

I am so excited. I can finally work out my plans. I told middle DD that if there was a & party I was dressing up. The look on her face, she told me who embarrassed she would be. I said oh well I want to be a pirate. She was very relived and that would be OK. She was concerned I was going to were a princess gown.

I heard that a CM said that there is a possibility of P&P, but they would not announce it until 3 months before. So I figured I will plan a MK day for Friday and hope for the best.
