I love speed skating the most but enjoy any of the racing type competitions. I also enjoy good balanced coverage that shows all of the athletes and not just the Americans.

The American bias will certainly be shown when NBC and USA Sports starts the coverage…

Almost forgot to mention that this is the first time since 1998 that a network other than NBC will have Olympic coverage (USA and a bunch of other networks are now owned by Versant and not NBC).

If it gets to be too much then I'll just quit watching. I remember one year when the hosts would interview and chat while other athletes were performing. This approach ruins the competition imo.

To be fair, all countries tv coverage has a bias towards the home nation. BBC does it with the UK and CBC/CTV does it with Canada to a certain degree.

Of course and I expect that. I would just like to see a bit of the other side too. It's a balance.

Hockey, of course. Curling, figure skating. Honestly, most everything. I way prefer the Winter Olympics to the summer ones.

CTV hasn’t aired the Olympics since 2012… now CBC has over the air rights although CTV’s sister network TSN still airs coverage to complement CBC coverage.
