We are just back from our July 26-31 family and friends trip :) and I just booked an April 2008 trip for just DH and I!!!! So excited!

We're going April 12-16 and staying at POP, our Disney home! This will be our fourth stay at POP in four years and our second trip with NO kids :)

It has been the best day!!! I booked CR this morning and also made flight arrangements at same time!! I'm so looking forward to the planning of this trip....oh - first week of April for us.

I've got 8 months today, so if you all don't mind, I think I need to indulge in a little dance...

We are planning on going in April, I am trying to figure out spring break so we don't go at that time does any one know when it is?

Another first-timer. April 12-20th at POR. 2A/3C. I am excited and worried.(Worried, because I am a very disorganized, freespirited "wing it" kind of person. All this planning scares me.)

hey, april dancers! i just checked the disney world website to see if they'd updated the park hours at all. they're up to march 2008.....so that means the next month they'll add will be OUR month!!! :cool1: if anyone notices that the april 2008 hours are up, post here so we'll all know! ;)

Hi I'm new to the board and I'm planning our trip for April 19 - 26th! It will also be my DD's Bday while we are at Disney so I want to make it extra special for her! I haven't reserved anything as of yet but when is the best time to reserve??

Once our April hours go up on the official site (due around the 1st week in October 07), and it's 180 days out from your holiday, you can then contact Disney direct and make any ADR's that you wish too. I'd make sure you do call on the earliest day possible so you give yourself the best chance of getting the ressies you want :goodvibes

welcome!!! you can make hotel reservations now, but the park hours don't come out for april 2008 until next month, i believe. that's when you can REALLY start making your plans! and then of course dining reservations can be made 180 days out from your first day of vacation. it's important to make dining reservations as early as possible - especially if you're taking your DD to cinderella's royal table! i've never eaten there, but i've heard it fills up FAST! also, be sure to get her a birthday button to wear when you check in at the hotel - they're free and she'll get lots of attention from cast members! :goodvibes

I have a quick question. I haven't reserved my Hotel yet for my April 2008 trip. I haven't reserved anything but I know the dates that I want to go. Where do most people make there travel arrangements. Do they call Disney and make them thru there or is there one specific Travel Agency that handles mostly Disney Reservations? Also when you make reservations how much do they usually require you to put down on the reservations?

last year i made mine through disney. next april i'm renting DVC points, so i'm not having to make the reservations, but that's irrelevant to you! i've never used a travel agent, so i don't really have any advice on that. i found the cast members that handle reservations on the phone at disney to always be very friendly and helpful.....so much more so than normal customer service type people! if my memory serves me correctly, i believe they require $200 down when you reserve and that you pay the balance in full by 45 days out (i think). i would just pay mine online whenever i had a few extra dollars in my account....it was really easy! good luck......and HAVE FUN on your trip next year!!!!!!! :goodvibes
