Is Whitney the name of the "plus sized" girl? Contrary to being "fat" as someone here called her, I think she looked pretty darned normal...she's the weight of a whole lot of America. I don't think ladies her size in the "real world" actually consider themseleves to be plus sized.

Let's just be real here. She's LESS then the weight of a whole lot of America.
I don't know what 'size' she is, but she looks fit. Not flabby or anything. Not fat either. I know fat. Does she look big compared to those other girls? Yes, but a size 6 would look big compared to those other girls.

Whitney looks more big boned to me. She's not flabby, like Briarmom mentioned.

I'm glad Kim went home, she was really starting to get on my nerves. It sucked that they still had an elimination though. When that happens, I think they should call up one of the other girls that didn't make it and give them a shot. Ebony did this last season, but they didn't do an elimination.

I can't wait for the makeovers, that's my favorite part. I wonder whose head they're gonna shave?? They always have to do that to at least one girl.

It was hysterical that Kim said that modeling really didn't interest her. I'd LOVE for someone to look her up in 10 or 20 years to see what someone with her remarkable drive and intelligence is doing for a living (I'm being sarcastic here.) I'd say McDonald's or DQ, but that would be an insult to all the bright people who work there.

Allison, if you really want to be a model, people are going to talk about your butt. Learn to deal with it or give it up. I am glad you overcame what you have, and the comment was a little heartless, but you gotta let stuff like that roll off your back. The passive aggressive doll play was juvenile.

Makeovers! Fatima got her hair redone! Tears were shed while a weave went in!

My opinion - makeovers that worked! Claire looks great! Aimee looks good as does Katarzya, Fatima and Whitney. Lauren is rocking the new locks.

I liked Allison better with dark hair.

Makeovers that kinda flopped...Marvita - Now she looks like Omarosa's slightly cuter younger sister. Stacy Ann, meh. Amis, she looks odd now. I don't know what else to say. Anya...eeeek. Hair looks fine when it doesn't look completely fried out, but why does it make you talk like a Russian doing a drunken Afrikkan accent? Aren't you supposed to be from Hawaii??! Dominique...what they did to you..I am sorry.

Yay, Elle!

Whitney should be allowed to punch that stylist in the nose for what she did to her...

As for who went home...there were three I could have seen go. I was a little surprised by who was sent home, but looking at the photos...the judges were right.

I wasn't crazy about some of the makeovers. Some looks made them look washed out (going from brunette to blonde) and a couple's hair looked so fake, it looked like they were wearing a wig.

I guess the lesson learned, SAY THANK YOU!

Most of those make-overs were terrible! Anya's hair matches her complexion, Aimee's hair is too orange, Whitney's hair makes her face look splotchy, and Claire looks like Susan Powter! Allison went from Sarah Silverman to Rose McGowan in her early Charmed years. Fatima looked better with the long dark hair (that orange hair she came in with was terrible), Marvita's mohawk is an improvement, Kat's dark hair is an improvement and Lauren looks cute with her new hair and some make-up. Amis still looks scraggly and like a begger. Dominique looks so much older. Stacy Ann looked fine with short hair (with long extensions, she'd look too much like Dani), but that style looks like a shorter version of Buckwheat's hair - couldn't they have done a better short style?
So many light blondes - couldn't they have done at least one or two medium blondes or rich browns?

Allison was doomed from day 1. I am surprised she wasn't the one sent packing last week.

I was really happy with most of the makeovers. The only one I thought was horrible was Dominique's. She does look like a soccer mom now. Hopefully they will fix it soon. I like Anya's makeover, but still think she is fundamentally ugly - not "model ugly", just plain ol' ugly. Marvita's new 'do is awesome and it makes me wish I were an aspiring model so I could have hair like that. I was really worried about what they'd do to Claire. I thought she looked great before and didn't want them to change anything, but I like her with the super short blonde hair too.

My favorites at this point are Claire and Marvita. I can't stand Fatima and hope she goes home soon, but she does look like a model now, which worries me. So glad Allison's gone!

I don't really have a favorite this cycle yet. I am glad Alison is gone. I'm sure her snotty attitude had a lot to do with editing and how she was portrayed by the producers, but I didn't even find her all that pretty. She was too plain to be a model!

I think Dominique looks really old and almost haggard. I'm not sure it's just the hair, either.

Dominique should have been the one to have gone home. She looks like she's in her mid-30s (the makeover didn't help a bit.)

What's with the obsession with super light blondes? Most people don't have the skin tone to pull that off. It looks terrible on Hawaii Girl. Marvita's hair looked great for that particular photo shoot, but I don't think it will be versitile, then SHE will be criticized for not being versitile.

I think Fatima is just plain mean. Sure, she's this abused immigrant that we all feel for. But I think she's smart and she's mean and she knows exactly what to say to get at people.

I hope Whitney does well. She's really beautiful. Think of what must have been going through her head when they were putting all those clothes on her when the others were in skimpie undies. I'm glad Tyra said something about it.

I think the awkward one (Lauren?) has a fantastic face.

Claire DOES look like Susan Powter now-I hadn't heard that name for ages. She's beautiful enough to pull it off, but she looked better with darker hair.

Another Saliesha commericial....sorry folks, but I don't think she looks like a model.

I did too. I think her new look made her look like Alyssa Milano.

I've noticed that Fatima seems to like to say things to the other girls to make them mad, then act like she didn't realize she was saying something mean.

That's exactly what I said! She looks like a 45-year old soccer mom with bad hair.

Allison last night was hysterical! Whenever someone's really obnoxiously cocky they ALWAYS get kicked off that same episode I couldn't stand her.

My favorites are Claire, Lauren, the Polish girl, and Marvita's really grown on me! I like her. Claire's still my pick to win but her hair's not good. It was exotic and mysterious dark and now she just looks... washed out. She's got a gorgeous face, though, so she could pull it off. Most of the makeovers were pretty bad. The Russian girl from Hawaii... I can't remember her name, but her hair washed her out ridiculously! She looked really bad. Hopefully they fix some of them up!

Seriously, is there anyone on this thread from Hawaii? Does anyone ELSE from Hawaii sound like her?

DS17 has Asperger's Syndrome and everyone talks about his "accent." Most say he sounds British....he really doesn't. He just sounds "not Texas." It's totally his own thing. He's going to speech therapy for it, which has succeeded in making his Rs sound Irish instead of British.

Maybe the girl on ANTM just has her own "accent."

I think the girls now have watched enough of the prior ANTM cycles to know that they should NOT complain about their makeovers....not exactly the key to sucess. I bet that Claire secretly doesn't like hers, but is smart enough to keep her mouth shut.

Some of those weaves/extensions look like Barbie doll hair-you know, the long thick hair that cascades down to the tiny waist.......

I think the judges have been making up the Russian thing because they can't figure out the accent and she hasn't offered an explanation.
